The Coffee Shop

This is your average, run of the mill diner. The woman who seated us was friendly, but our waitress was dismal. She grumpily took our order, and we barely saw her after that. Getting coffee refills was a challenge, and a smile was even more rare. The prices were low, so we didn't feel like a total loss.

Since I was raised in a café like this one, I really enjoyed the ambiance. If you want to know where the fish are biting, these patrons would know. :)
The food and coffee was good, the pies were great. Not something we eat very often. Forgot to get food photos, but I got this shot just before leaving.

Love Love Love this place for breakfast! Its friendly charming delightful. The people that work there amazing nice sweet relaxed. My daughter and I hit this place any time we go this direction, and always around my birthday Aug.5th. They make me feel like family! Huggs to yall! Love yas! X0

Staff was friendly and did a great job. We had breakfast and the food was average. Seating may be an issue for a larger party...6+...but a good place to eat.

I have one thing to say--Jalapeño burger--even if you take off the jalapeños and bacon 🥓 like me and just eat the burger with the cheese and their special sauce it will make you happy. They have other great country food for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well. They also have a great variety of sides and housemade pies.

I love the hometown feel and atmosphere. The service is great and they make you feel at home.

If you are looking for a traditional coffee shop, this is it!! It has been an icon for years. 💕

It is open at times when other places line Wafflehouse are ToGo only at present.

They seem short staffed. I arrived at 6:10 am and ordered at 6:15 but didn't get my food until 6:45 or so. It was a Monday, if that is relevant.

The food is OK but it isn't my first pic if other options are available, all things considered.
