Beyu Caffè

The service is trash especially when I'm picking up a to-go order and I'm ignore by one of the girls behind the counter several times. She looked at me and then just walked away. She needs to be trained on customer service. She acted as if I was bothering her and instead of waiting on me She called someone else to do it when it would've taken 2 seconds to grab the bag behind her and hand it to me. Very frustrating this is what is happening.

Tried contacting the beyu cafe multiple times regarding tickets and the menu but no one answered the phone.

Popped in for a Coke on my walk around town. It seemed that I was the most unimportant person in there. I sat at the bar and appeared be overlooked a few times until shouting to the server. It took 10 minutes to pay the bill, even though I was next to the till. I don't think I was cool enough for them......

Sad to bump this down to a one star.
But I ordered a chai latte with 2 shots of espresso.

There was 0 expresso shots and more ice than latte. It was a tasting watery experience.

I felt unheard. The cashier said babe and hun a lot but failed to properly take a simple order.

Also they don’t accept cash, which is ridiculous. Not everyone has access to card. Very classist.

Enjoyed a great evening at Beyu. The newly renovated space is great. Not a bad seat in the house for live music. The acoustics were good and the food was also very good. Will definitely go back!

One of my favorite spots in Durham to grab a bite to eat. The staff are some of the friendliest people around. I always order takeout and the service is very fast. I will continue to support this business.

Good food - they have been making do the best they can with the staff they have, but have walked out twice at lunch because of no service after 10 minutes.

I’m giving 3 stars because I don’t believe in running down businesses. Our experience wasn’t what we thought it would be. Cold food and long waits. We said we may try again. Not sure yet.

The service and the food was awesome.The meat lovers omelet was great and the grits almost made me lick the bowl.I will go back there again the food taste like it was made with love .

This was my first time at the Beyu and the food was superbly amazing. So good, love the atmosphere
