Beyu Caffè

Great coffee and friendly folks. I felt so welcome and the food was great. Their version of shrimp and grits is the way I like it, so that was a very present surprise. 10 out of 10, would do again.

This place could be great. The food was great. The service, not so much. It seemed like there was only one waitress working and she was clearly overwhelmed. The kitchen took along time and a food runner brought us the table next to ours food(we got it sorted out). The atmosphere was well decorated and cozy but the music was so loud we struggled to communicate with the wait staff and those at our table.
I hope management can fix these problems because like I said the food was great!

First off, I love the name Beyu- YES, just BE YOU!! This coffee shop serves up delicious coffee in a comfortable setting. Great location right on Main Street.

Visiting my cousin in Durham and she brought me to Beyu. Delicious coffee (Caramello latte) and food (southwest burrito and grits). Our waitress Jazzy was so nice and made excellent recommendations. Will definitely come back when I'm in town again.

Beyu service it not what it use to be preCovid. I’ve gone there 2 times in the last 3 months and I’ve had to wait over 45 minutes even after placing a take order. The first time took so long, one of the waiters offered to deliver it to me after I waited 45 minutes. I ordered online the second time thinking it will be ready when they told me to arrive. It wasn’t, I still had to wait.
The response I got after bringing it to their attention was rude. A young lady working said “ it’s Sunday your food will be late even if you order online, it doesn’t matter. She blamed it on the kitchen staff stating they were new and then walked away…never apologize. I’m so disappointed.

Great breakfast experience today. Jazzy and Darius provided awesome service, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend their Aunty Hazel, perfectly balanced espresso that was just the right level of sweeness.

The food and wait staff were pleasant. I came in on a Sunday morning around 9:45am, and sat down immediately. I ordered a chai tea and the Beyu breakfast. It took 25 minutes for my chai to come out and 45 minutes for my breakfast. There were plenty of open tables when I was seated and when I left. Wish they were able to prepare the food faster.

10/10 for service and taste!! The food was delicious and staff was respectful. Ambiance and vibe of the place was warm and welcoming! Definitely coming back!

Wow the Oprah drink iced was great ! So was the young man at the counter ! I enjoyed every sip 🧡

Went here with friends and the food was so worth the wait!! The people we super nice and friendly. Classic french toast is a must. Definitely coming back here.
