Saturday Brunch is amazing. Food is cooked to perfection and fills you up. French toast is amazing and one of the few places in the entire area that knows how to make eggs just the way I like them. The runaway latte is deliciously spicy and worth the trip.

So, I really love exploring the local favorites when I travel; and I had high hopes for this location. Though the breakfast was lack luster and not very tasteful, I did enjoy the décor and atmosphere. It was very laid back and comfortable. My waitress was cool enough and we had a great conversation on what 'shelled eggs' mean. Overall the place was a good stop in, I just wouldn't eat anything next time. Just hang out and read a book.

Beyu is my favorite place in Durham to go for coffee! Although the coffee itself isn’t necessarily the best in town, the atmosphere is easy going and unpretentious, the staff have always been warm and on top of things, and prices are more than reasonable. Location downtown is great, always lively but you might have a tough time getting parked.
You’ll also frequently find unique live music and events here of a flavor and caliber different than any other spot in town that I’ve found.
If you visiting Durham and want to get a taste of the town, I think that Beyu is an essential stop.

Warm, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, good cappuccinos (try the Mexican Cappuccino) its a nice blend of coco + spices. The place is tastefully decorated. I especially enjoyed the French toast (with challah bread) in my opinion, this is the best way to do French toast and they got it right!

Great ambiance and service.A very sought after coffee shop in Durham. Try to make it on Jazz nights if you can, but it is a great spot otherwise too.

What they advertise on the menu vs. what you get and pay for isn't worth it. Paid $12 for French toast and all I got was 2 slices and not 4 as advertise. Tried speaking with the staff and nothing was done about it. Wasted my time on this unsatisfactory breakfast as it took 50 minutes to pick up.
