Wonderful setting, amazing food and beverages. An extra special breakfast or brunch that we never miss when we visit the OBX. Setting is lovely and cool under shady trees. Their biscuits are to die for and every dish we've had is imaginative and delicious. NOT your run of the mill breakfast fare.. Don't miss it!

We are visiting OBX the week after Christmas and we knew there would be a lot of business closed for the season. We were super happy to come across Treehouse Coffee. I had a delicious egg, cheese, and bacon breakfast sandwich. They had lots of dairy alternatives for coffee.

We stopped for coffee on a Wednesday morning. We knew we were in a good spot when there was already a line at five after eight. We ordered coffees and decided to share a chicken biscuit. Wow. That was one of the best breakfast sammiches I've ever had in my life. The biscuit was flaky and delicious. The chicken was breaded to perfection, tender and moist. The honey was warm and a little spicy. The pickles were terrific. Just one of the best sammiches I've had. I will get one of these sammiches everytime we're in Duck from now on.
The coffees we're great too. I wish we would have remember to grab our reusable straws to stick in our coffees sippy lids.

My cousins and I had visited during the pandemic last year to grab some coffee and it wasn’t the best, but it was a cute little place! This year, my family decided to stop for breakfast on the way out of OBX, and it didn’t go so well. I just wanted to post this for those that may have gluten or dairy allergies, they are not accommodating at all for what is on their menu food wise! I tried to order a couple of different menu items for breakfast, received weird stares and was told “we don’t do accommodations” for food. I totally understand it’s a small shop, but it was really embarrassing for me the way I was talked to and I just wanted those to know that have allergies it’s not a place for you! The coffee is alright and my siblings didn’t enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. Overall, not the best experience :/

I have not tried their breakfast meals other than a muffin which was quite good. But I can say their coffee drinks are quite tasty. Service is relatively quick given the small staff. If you're there in the summer, go early as the line can get quite long.

So yummy! Had the best luck going there to order from the window. Struggled getting some of the options via online order. The Oat milk Pumpkin Spice Latte had an interesting flavor, buy I liked it. We got the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Biscuit; both highly recommendrd!

I was really disappointed in my experience here. My family and I drove down from Nags Head and sat in morning traffic to come here for breakfast. We arrived around 11:50 and were looking at menus. The food sounded great but just as we were getting ready to order we had the door shut in our face. We were very confused and were not the only ones standing in line. We learned that they closed at 12 and understand a strict closing time but we took a large chunk out of our day to come here and were not even acknowledged. The least they could have done is let everyone know they were closing and wouldn’t be taking any more orders. Instead the woman shut the doors without a word. Very rude.

We were looking for breakfast close to our rental in Duck. Ordering online for me is a huge plus. We ordered and it gave me a pickup time - but our food and drinks were ready about 10 minutes early. The biscuits are huge and have a lot of egg. They are way better than fast food places. When I walked up to the window to pick up my order, the girl was very friendly. We were very happy with everything!

While vacationing in Duck we stumbled upon this little gem tucked inside a very charming and unsuspecting oasis that from the street is very concealed. Find it!! I'm from the south and this place had the BEST biscuit I have ever had. Moved me to tears. Bacon, egg and avocado biscuit equals heaven.
