We are eating our way around Duck.
Stopped in for breakfast and wasn't disappointed.
Coffee was good and they give you hot mugs to fill on your own.
Wife had biscuit with egg , cheese and bacon. Thought bacon was some of the best she ever had, with its smoky flaver and crisp. Biscuit had a touch of honey glaze on top and was light and flavorful.
I had the fried chicken biscuit with egg and gravy. Gravy could have been a little warmer, but I loved the large chunks of sausage and the slight vinegar/pepper flavor. Chicken was crispy and moist, although I think it could of been a little more seasoned.
It is a little tucked away in the complex and you need to only drive in 100 feet to park.
We were the only ones there so service was fast and the cashier/server/baristas was a pleasure to speak with. We did notice that as it got busy, people did need to wait for their food as her priority is serving coffee. My suggestion is that the kitchen could help and deliver food so it didn't sit. I did observe one table come up and ask about their food.

Cool vibe and nice decor. Only place in the OBX with good coffee.

My iced matcha was good the other day but it was made sloppy and I got green powder all over my new dress. My caramel macchiato today was alright.

Soft shelled crab biscuit was amazing, (left bacon off mine) crab cake Sammy also great, but on a bun. Crew there is super cool and the line moved pretty quickly during our COVID visit. Counter culture coffees. All is right in the world.

Best food we had in the Outer Banks. The biscuits are incredible. The wait was quick and worth every second.

Great coffee and great food. You can sit outside under the trees like you are in the forest, forgetting you are at the beach. One could say it's a little 'hipster.'

Asked if I could substitute something. They understandably couldn’t. Then asked for my order where I noticed that one of the sandwiches was ringed up for 15% more than it was listed on the menu. When I mentioned this the cashier rudely told me that’s what it is in the system. After the pushback, I then gestured to each of the menus showing the price. And she extremely reluctantly went to ask how to change the system. I said thanks for making the change two times without her responding. And then while waiting I saw her ring up several other people for the overcharged item - which disappears quickly from the screen so is hard to catch. Pretty rude experience on the whole.

We always love our coffee stops while on the island. They start with a great bean and they brew it exceptionally well. I'm especially a big fan of their cold brew coffee. The granola and yogurt had been a long time favorite on a hot summer morning. The biscuits are large, fluffy, and delicious. There is nothing on the menu that I can't recommended. The atmosphere is very much in the name, treehouse, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

We came here multiple times on our first trip down here and it was the perfect breakfast spot for our afternoon adventures. Biscuits and Yogurt+Granola were perfect. The thick-cut bacon was GOOD. Solid coffee and friendly staff. It's located in the middle of shops all connected through a shaded, labyrinthine deck path so you can enjoy yourself before and after if you're taking it easy.

We got some iced lattes, avocado toast, and a breakfast burrito. Everything was very good, and the outdoor area was a really nice, chill place to eat.
