Despite every table inside being open, there was a 40 minute wait. My girlfriend and I decided to wait it out, hoping the food would be beyond our expectations. It was not. After an extra 30+ minute wait, the food was disappointingly average and some of it wasn't even cooked properly. The service was below average. Our waitress only checked on us once after taking our order. She never even offered to refill our drinks. It's overpriced for what you get. The mimosas were good though.

I went in with my daughter and grandson. They sat us at a booth and when I sat down the booth seat broke and sent me to the floor. Nobody helped up they just asked if I was ok and then picked up the pieces and took the seat to the back while saying the previous guest had mentioned the seat was leaning. Then they said the GLUED area had given way. They sat us at another both took our order and didn't even offer to comp anything but 2 cups of coffee and a hot chocolate. I asked if the owner was there or manager and the waitress said no it owned by a few unc alumni guys and they are never there and the general manager wasn't there today. Food was somewhat bland very little seasoning. Im still deciding on if I should seek a lawyers opinion about the incident and the lack of urgency or business management.

Really loved having brunch here. The Belgian waffle was fantastic and so was the eggs Jennifer. The atmosphere is great, and the service was fantastic. The menu prices were very reasonable. It's definitely a busy spot, but it was worth the wait to get a booth! :)

Good food and good prices. Lots of traffic the day we went but we got seated pretty quickly. Overall a good experience.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The free wifi is really great too. It's a nice spot to get some coffee and get some work done!

I came in here to get coffee to go as it was closer to my car and parking spot than Starbucks. Coffee and host were great, workers were busy, but the person who took my order and made my coffee was obviously on a personal call with their ear buds in when they came around the corner at first to take my order, even though they said it was a reservation, you only need time, date and number in group for that. They put the call on hold just long enough to drop my check and make my beverage then went back to the call. Since everything else was awesome I'm giving this 4 stars

The chicken wrap was tasty, will the right amount of honey mustard. Olivia crushed it behind the bar. Loved this place twenty years ago, and still love it today.

Great food but please change the website! Drove 20 minutes for a waffle just to find out they ditched the whole brunch menu. Totally fine with the decision to do so but please change the site so people know what to expect! Other than that great food and great service, thanks!

I really wanted to like this restaurant more. Especially with its history in Chapel Hill. However, while the food was above average, the service was horrible. We had Ryan V as a waiter and he was awful. He was short to the point of almost being rude, unattentive and aloof. Drinks weren’t refilled, condiments were missing, never checked on us after someone else delivered our food, etc.
The restaurant was not especially busy nor was it short staffed.
Dear management; Ryan V wants to be somewhere else doing something else.
We won’t be back.

Over a half an hour wait, at 2, not even the lunch rush. Food was mediocre, burger was burnt but the fries were good. Place was pretty up to date, and has somehow survived since 1922.
