Great Chapel Hill brunch tradition. Visiting daughter on parents weekend. They had a little trouble with the waiting list as we were overlooked twice on being sat. Food was excellent. Eggs Benedict with prosciutto instead of Canadian Bacon for me. Her mom had one of the best tasting hamburgers I've ever eaten. Always rock solid since my first visit in early 80's.

Delicious brunch and great drink options, including spiked coffee drinks, however... Charging for condiments ALWAYS makes a restaurant look "cheap", so I'm deducting a star because 50 cents for extra syrup is a stupid integrity move. Seriously, just up to price for pancakes by, what 25 cents, considering at most probably half of customers ask for extra syrup? Then again, considering the lines just to get in this place, and the niche theynserve, I doubt they care

The service was fast and professional.
I had shrimp and grits on a rainy Monday. The place was bustling, always a great sign of a fast turn over . Thx Olivia ( my server ) I will be back 😎

We just went to your coffee shop n ordered two expresso mochas, barely potable, no sugar, couldn’t taste the chocolate at all. Expresso mochas are a dessert coffee but only tasted hot milk. I’m not sure if this is a standard recipe or not. We were just visiting and decided to stop by on way to doctor appt.

One of the few places that lets people dine in. The coffee there was flavorful and the Belgian waffle was good, a little bit pricey though.
However, it was dark and kinda noisy inside, so it might not be the best place to study at.

It was actually the best feed we ate this trip. Overall I found the food in Chapel Hill to be mediocre but this was the best meal we had. Staff was attentive and fun to talk to. We wound up sitting at the bar because they quoted us an hour wait for table but as soon as we sat down there were several empty tables - no problem for us b/c we were at the bar but we noticed that there was no hurry to fill the empty table with those that were waiting. They could double their business by being more attentive to operations.

Okay food. Came for lunch, which was a hastily constructed BLT with avocado, with ingredients piled in the middle and not spread to the edges. Bread unevenly toasted.

Staff was friendly but tables weren't wiped down well, food scraps got wiped on to the floor, and nobody had run a broom in awhile.

Decent coffee in an okay space, but that doesn't make a place special.

Look elsewhere.

Nice hang out spot on a Sunday morning. Coffee and tea were both very good.

A nice location for a good breakfast. The service is always great. The only downside is the lack of close parking especially on the weekends.

A decent place on Franklin Street. We waited a long time for our food (dinner time), and it was pretty average. I may go again to try breakfast/brunch, but it definitely isn't one of my top choices for dinner.
