Amazing place and coffee- all menu is amazing

This is quickly becoming a staple in my routine. Every 2 weeks my husband and I drive up to Chester to see my stepson and now we also make sure to stop at Valkyrie. First and most importantly, the coffee is phenomenal. The Bourbon is AGGRESSIVE in the barrel aged beans and you are definitely getting your money's worth. But the real treasure is the Honey-processed coffee. I've been using these beans for cold brew and it is so lovely and light to drink but somehow still aromatically roasty and full of flavor. Imagine the perfectly roasted marshmallow of coffee beans.
Not only are the beans top quality for a reasonable price, but the selection in store is also absolutely delightful. With lattes and snacks that are traditional with a twist, I highly recommend the Soleil latte with the blueberry lavender 'poptart' or cinnamon bun if they are available. Then grab a seat and enjoy seating that is both beautiful and comfortable. And before you leave be sure to glance at the other locally made items for sale. I personally have fallen in love with the Agrestic Soap, with is locally made and a veteran-owned company.

Valkyrie Coffee is an incredible coffee shop. The owner knows his coffee and shares that knowledge with his customers. They roast their own beans on site. The menu is innovative and exciting. The customer service is top notch! I can't wait to come back and enjoy something new off of the menu!

I am one of those weirdos who doesn’t like coffee but I always find something I enjoy there. Their matcha latte is the best! Valkyrie is always clean and has a very friendly staff.

Oh! And their collaboration with Tin Barn Brewing produced one of the tastiest beers, Dolce Notte. I really hope they do that again!

This is the ultimate place to find single origin and in-house roasted coffee in Orange County and New York. All the coffee is expertly roasted and offers options like Swiss Water Process and Honey Processed, which can be difficult to find. Valkyrie Coffee is what specialty coffee should strive to be and is a shining example in New York.

After a less than stellar experience at Motgership on main in Danbury we were in need of good coffee. This place popped up and we figured why not.

Wow! It was great. The barista was knowledgeable and suggested drinks based on our questions. There is true craftsmanship in each drink. Part of the appeal was watching them get made. Definitely coming back when we're in the area.

This new cafe came about at the worst possible time, but also at the best possible time. COVID attacked businesses, but a few hot spots acted to bring people together in the difficult times. From my understanding, Valkyrie didn't close during the outbreak. They weathered the storm. They stayed open to serve their community. They have grit and determination. And all this is not to speak of their creative drinks and pastries. They also roast their own beans in house, which is impressive. Check out their campfire latte if it's on the menu when you go there. And get yourself a home made pop tart. Go out of your way to come here. You won't be sorry.
