This was my first stop on the Catskills coffee crawl. The pumpkin latte was beautifully made and delicious. It was worth the hour trip. Will return!

Couldn’t believe they a beautiful coffee shop in this beautiful small town. At first my americano looked kinda dark I thought it will be bitter. But when I tasted, it was so smooth and great taste. They are packed on Monday. And baristas are super cool and welcoming

Always friendly. Great espresso and cappuccino. Nice place to relax and visit with friends. We often buy whole beans to continue the espresso experience all week!

Great spot for coffee, one of the most authentic feeling coffee houses in the area. Owners are very friendly, ambiance is great. The iced coffee is delicious and definitely the best in the area. Loved the homemade oat milk.
I'd love to see some evening hours, even if just one or two nights a week, as they close at 4:30pm. Hopeful they'll add a vegan option in their baked good options!

Amazing coffee, lattes, kombucha, and baked goods all made from scratch, mostly by the owner. He is always very pleasant and accommodating, as are his employees. The shop has a very nice and cozy vibe.

I read the great reviews about Valkyrie: educated owner and barista, great coffee. All true!!! Dakota, is a passionate purveyor of unique and exotic tasting coffee drinks and teas. Dakota has me hooked on the Triple Affogato (espresso flavored ice cream plus espresso, plus cold exotic coffee over ice) and the friendly atmosphere. His customers are diverse and pleasant. The cafe is clean and socially spaced that makes you feel comfortably safe. Downtown Chester has another great business with Valkyrie!

Cannot recommend this place enough. If you want straight coffee, they have excellent and widely sourced beans. If you're feeling adventurous, they have so many interesting specialty coffee drinks youll want to order more than one. You can tell the guy who runs the place loves his job and loves coffee. Go support a local business and get your mind alerted to the phenomenon that is Valkyrie.
