Valkyrie Coffee Roasters

This was a nice Cafe experience and had a really comfy ambiance! Their ice coffee was really good and had balanced flavors. It wasn't a sugary mess like other main coffee places. It was pleasant to also see the employees teaching people how to brew and roast coffee right in the Cafe! I think I may come back and learn to roast and get some more coffee!

Friendly staff. Good coffee.
They make their own oat and almond milk.
Tiny spot, but they produce a great product.
Didn't try the food, it looked good.

I had the good fortune to stop by Valkyrie right as they were opening this morning, the owner/roaster Dakota engaged me in a fascinating and friendly discussion about the business and the area. The coffee was outstanding and I can't wait to come back with The Mrs

Easily one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to! I was in NY for two days, and had to go both days. Their specialty drinks are not to be missed.

This is a great stop. Be nice to the new baristas!! It's tough to find cafe employees these days, and everybody starts somewhere. Everyone here works hard and will make your experience awesome. :)

Secondly, buy the beans. I accidentally picked up the dark roasted Sumatra and am glad I did. I don't usually seek out dark roasts, but the owner suggested an awesome recipe ratio--one which I'll be using for all dark roasts in the future!! For those curious, I did 17.5g/350g for 2.5 minutes in the Clever Dripper at 198F.

Was driving from Cooperstown to the city and decided to stop here for some needed coffee. I must say, this is the best coffee I have ever had. We were 7 in out group and they all said the same. Would definitely stop by if we are ever in this area again.

Love that the heritage trail is right there, so you can grab a coffee & go for a walk!

Great place for coffee and to relax for a bit. Service and quality of the beverages was outstanding. The coffee was the best I’ve had in the States.

Every time we go here we instantly feel welcome. We haven't had this good of coffee, ever. We have tried everything from the iced coffee, to a PB Mocha, matcha latte, and a campfire mocha that they SMOKE IN FRONT OF YOU and then toast a homemade marshmallow and put it on top. The people, the vibe of the space, and the exceptional coffee will keep us coming back forever. We are so happy to have finally found this place and if you're reading this...go try it. Now. You won't regret it.
