Looooooooooooove Iron Roost. I have a standing breakfast date with a friend there every 2-3 weeks. The specials are good and the regular menu items are also delicious (though in general I recommend the sweet waffle options over any of the other menu categories). The coffee is spectacular. Prices are a little high, but the quality is also high. If you get there before 9am on a weekend you can generally get a table for a party of 2-4 without a problem, but make sure to use the Yelp app to reserve a table for any weekend time after 9am.

I love the Iron Roost. It's my absolute favorite place to eat breakfast. Whenever I'm in the area, I can't resist going!
My favorite dish there is undoubtedly the Bananas Foster, it's out of this world. I enjoy the waffles with a hot cup of their cinnamon coffee. I don't think I've ever had better waffles and coffee. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

If I could give a higher rating, I would. This is a charming hidden gem in Ballston Spa. One morning my fiance and I wanted some pancakes and sadly our brains go straight to Denny's. I had decided to give Google a quick look and see if there was a waffle house or anything local. This place popped up, had great reviews, and we decided to give some local love. Absolutely the best decision we made about breakfast. The staff are sweet, the drinks are delicious, they offer a wide variety of foods and drinks that cater to vegan and/or those with certain allergies. I haven't had a meal here that I haven't liked. This is our little comfort food go-to now and I hope others give this place a try.

I never write restaurant reviews...even when I really like a place......but I was blown away with the Iron Roost yesterday. My granddaughter took me up for breakfast and, truly, this place has it all. It is everything she said it was....and more. I had the French Toast Waffles with bacon and it was magnificent!! The gals who run this sweet little place are friendly....the service is great....and the waffles are the best I've ever had. We shall definitely return for a luncheon selection....VERY SOON! Oh, and I almost forgot....the coffee was excellent!!!

Ordered the waffles and some sides I must say this meal was outstanding!! Iron roost always does such a great job with their flavors. We signed up for the waitlist beforehand- was very accurate with wait times and avoided the rush!

If any breakfast place I would go to this place! Since 2012, we have been going to this place, every year since it open! Its one of my favorite breakfast places to go to! Highly recommend it for anyone who likes coffee, tea, or a drink, they do have it! Thanks for an amazing experience at the Iron Roost!

If anyone is planning to go to the Iron Roost, make sure your on the app YELP, and join the wait list. If you do not join the wait list on YELP, you may be waiting for over an hour. The most popular days that the Iron Roost is packed is on the weekends, or in the summer. Those are the times we would highly recommend using the YELP wait list.

This place is very cool. With a very diverse selection of waffles and beverages, it was a really nice breakfast. The line and everything was very unconventional and it seemed like they were in a rush to turn tables but I guess that's kind of understandable considering the line of people waiting to get in! Would definitely go again. Recommendation: use the no wait app to reserve ahead.

Such a well executed and creative menu that will impress any palate favoring savory or sweet! Always worth the wait but you won't have to if you get in line with their app. The wife loves the coffee and I love the liege waffles.
