Love this local favorite! Its been here for decades because of the awesome quality! I have come here since I was a little girl! The service is not only wonderful but they treat you like family!! Family owned and operated. Support Local!! Eat delicious food!! Win win!

The Hillcrest Restaurant is definitely a situation where you don't want to "Judge a book by its cover".
We ordered iced tea. It came in plastic cups.
Our meals, beef burrito smothered in green chili and tostadas, came on paper plates.
Okay??
The food was great. The green chili had great flavor with just a hint of heat. The tostadas were loaded with fresh veggies and were very tasty.
The service was on the slow side, but the food made the wait worth it.

The staff was amazing from our waitress to the cooks in the kitchen .we The waitress was very accommodating.came by with coffee several times asking and checking to see if we needed anything Food was very good We paid our tab and she was busy waiting on another table. She came out to tell ys thank you for stopping by there for breakfast. Will Diffently Stop There Again.

Food was fresh and hot. Wait staff friendly and efficient. Red and green chili was so flavorful. Had dinner and breakfast there. I would definitely recommend this place. Restaurant in now in the back and is calling Flamingo Dining

So I wouldn't recommend because the fried chicken was burnt and dry, there was hair in our food,took over 10 minutes to just get our chips and salsa the chips were over 4.99 but on the good side the customer service was good.

They are our go-to restaurant. Always clean, always kind. Update: Even during the covid crisis, the Hillcrest adapted and came through for the city. Comfortable outdoor seating is available. The indoor bathrooms have been remodeled! We are all so proud of Karen and Bill for going out of their way to provide great service! Thank you both!

We came here for dinner during our Route 66 road trip (detouring into Las Vegas). What a cool place--a real throwback to my childhood. The food was fine and the service friendly. Great retro place to experience dinner like your parent or grandparents once did.
