Hillcrest Restaurant and Trading Post Saloon

Charlie’s was not open (much to our disappointment) so we stopped here for breakfast while on a very long road trip. Our server was very nice, but the food TOOK FOREVER and everything was COLD. Our server did not stop back to check on us (I think she totally knew that our food was cold), so we ate what we could, paid the entire bill, and left.

Next time if Charlie’s isn’t open, we’ll just skip breakfast.

We travel through Las Vegas a few times a year and usually stop here for a break. We usually go to Allsups and grab a quick bite to go. I tried Hillcrest to see if it would be a good place to try .They were very busy. I finally got a seat and ordered. The food was good, green chili was mediocre. Service was really good.

The food was really good. Next time I hope to eat in, rather than takeout. The staff was super friendly and the whole place was so cute and quaint.

I like the breakfast here, they could have better service. Maybe not to slow.

The food here is awesome. Especially there green chili, it has the perfect flavor and spice. They do require masks and temperature checks for all customers. There food was all really good and not to high priced. All of the waitresses were super nice and good at their job except one. Who looked significantly older than all the others. She was not so good. She didn't have any sense of humor and she rarely did any check ups on us. The time to get in is a bit slow because you have to write down a bunch of information on a record sheet. The food however came out pretty fast. The bathroom and the overall building was super clean and well decorated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice hot breakfast!

We come here as often as possibly when we are in town. Judy is the best and we request here every time! Give her a great big tip! She earns it! And the food is delicious too!
