Dusty Boots Motel

Where do we start! This quaint motel for us is a 5 + stars. It is an older motel but VERY clean and COMFY. All the bedding, comforters, sheets, pillows, all were so fresh smelling! Pillows were very fluffy. Dusty a d Vicky show a lot of pride in their premises and def go above and beyond. Their cafe is grear for breakfast, lunch, a dinner. There is some wait time at cafe for food but all due to every plate freshly made and so well worth it.

Just spent one night and the room was nice !
Had no hot water and the construction on the new rooms was way past a decent hr couldn’t enjoy anything from all the work ,,, didn’t get to try restaurant they was carry out only like al the rest of them in town so maybe next time we’ll get to eat there when there dinning room is open !!

We were there 2 nights for "spring break" on March 12,13, 2019 during a snow storm and the whole city of Cloudcroft had no electricity due to the ice. We had heat because, they have gas heaters, but nothing else. We drove to get flashlights at the hardware store(yes.... shopped in the dark).
The owner sent his wife to Alamogordo to bring back tons of pizza and pies for all guest, fixed pancakes on the gas grill and charged NONE of us!!!!
You NEVER find this kind of customer service these days!! They went far and beyond their call of duty to accommodate all of their guest.
In spite of the no electricity, my sister, niece and her friend and I had a wonderful time! We played games by flashlight and had so much fun!! Our phones were dead and we didn't even miss that!!
I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It's decorated so cute, it's very, clean, but the owners and staff are EXCELLENT and FRIENDLY!!!!!

The room was so adorable, it was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. The owners were more than nice and helpful! This will be our new spot to stay when we visit cloudcroft!

Probably they best hotel/motel stay I have ever had. Owners were amazing, room #3 was absulitly gourgous. It looks like every inch of the room was carfully and perfectly designed and put together. Our fur babies were able to join us in the room which was super nice. They make amazing home cooked meals, and had the best hospitality. It was a 10 out of 10 for me!

Cool place. Laid back. Very reasonable rates. Dusty is a nice guy with lots of helpful info. Matress was way too hard for us but, the bedding was super comfy. We will stay again.

I used their laundry mat. Its okay I wish they would spend more time on cleaning it. The dryers always say clean lint and it takes more quarter's than usual to dry clothes. Also, owner uses the washing machine's in the morning after guests leave the room. So, don't think you will be in and out quickly because you have to wait for them to be open to use. Other than that, wished they would vacuum the floors and spiff it up a little. The owner Dusty is very friendly!
****Came back a week later....everything has been cleaned and looks a lot better!

Efficient checkin, clean room, tasty morning coffee and banana bread. Was a cool 58 degrees last night with the window open.

Loved this place! Spacious rooms and the owners of the place Dusty and Vicky were very kind --when we left my toddler's baby blanket behind accidentally, they mailed it to us. Highly recommend.

Lovely little cozy place. Everything was about cleanliness and small datails everywhere. You can notice the owners focus on a detailed tematic old west decor. Outstandig service, really quite place, everything works perfectly: Shower, toilette, TV cable, Fridge, microwave, coffee maker (there is a free coffee ingredients kit included). Will come back soon, no doubt about it.
Bonus: perfectly located just in the road to Silver Lake. Mountain bike friendly place!
