Dusty Boots Motel

We’ve been coming to CloudCroft for 10+ years.
Dusty Boots Restaurant is always on list of places to eat. Today 12/29/2022 the place was packed. It was busy but everyone working in the restaurant was super friendly and working to ensure everyone was taking care of. Great food excellent service !

We were stuck with a heavy snowstorm. Pulled, set everything up over the phone. The room was absolutely adorable and immaculately clean. And the breakfast was to die for!!! If my travel ever takes me back to Cloudcroft I will most certainly be knocking on your door again. Thank you!! Rita and Carolina

Loved this place. Cute themed rooms in a nice area. Bunkbed room was fun for the kids. Price wasn’t bad at all but we were there during the offseason. Plenty of sightseeing to do in the area, hope to come back. Not even half the shops downtown were open so that was a bummer. Cafe was pretty darn good too!

If you're heading to Cloudcroft and need a great place to stay we highly recommend Dusty Boots Motel! They have the coolest themed rooms that make your stay feel really special and one of a kind! The rooms are equipped with comfortable and clean beds, great heaters, cute refrigerators, microwaves, coffee station and more! Another added benefit is their complimentary banana bread you can get next door at the Dusty Boots Diner. The diner is really cozy and their food portions are way bigger than we anticipated. We left with full/warm bellies and great memories were made! The owners Vicki and Dusty are very down to earth and their staff is great! We can't wait to return during Ski season for another great time with great people.

I loved this place! Really cute rooms. Nice and warm. The owner is super sweet and accommodating. We will have all our guests stay here if we don’t have the space.

This is our second stay at Dusty Boots. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was clean, warm and cozy. The only downside were the bed pillows were not as fluffy as I prefer. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Cloudcroft.

I don't write to many hotel reviews and we stay at alot of motels, hotels, marrriots etc..all types. But what a charming, reasonably priced stay we had here. The room was so cute, decorated so nicely, jacuzzi in the tub, refrigerator and coffee maker. Really great place to stop when exploring the area. The restaurant next door was also wonderful, yummy breakfast, and decorated with more vintage cookie jars that I could count. If you want to stay somewhere quirky and charming yet clean with all the amenities this is your spot.

This place is fantastic each room is decorated in a different theme, I had the oil room with The Beverly hillbillies theme. I definitely recommend this place, right next door they have a restaurant great food!!! It looks like it's newly remodeled very clean and comfortable. Great location on the edge of town closer to the forest. If you're ever in Cloudcroft New Mexico I definitely recommend to stay at this place!!!

I booked this hotel due to the fact it is pet friendly; however, when asked where to let dogs out to do their "business", I was told 2 options. #1 go across the busy hwy 82 to the bar ditch or #2 go to the over grown area by the construction site. That area is on a steep incline and my small dogs could not walk up it. We walked up the road to the electric company to a small area.
It would be nice if they could build a dog area behind the laundry mat. It looks like there would be room to do so, if cleaned up and fenced.
The room was nice; however, it was cluttered with "stuff". The one dresser contained a large lamp that was not needed, a welcome sign, an oil rig thing. We did not have room to place any of our belongings. Same for the night stands. I know that the owners want to decorate the rooms, but too much clutter= not enough places for the customer to use.

Our room was number 4…. Beverly Hills/Texas Oil theme…. Bed linens and towels were fresh and clean. There is a small table and chair to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. The cafe served up delicious foods and dessert. Located close to Burro street shopping. Great place to stay while you enjoy the beauty of Cloudcroft. We would definitely stay here again
