Kaleidoscoops Ice Cream and More

It was a fun location for ice cream. My wife and I went there for our anniversary and it made our night well. Peaceful, and the staff is super friendly.

New to Carlsbad. Had been craving a delicious juicy, well done burger and we found our place.

The comfort food was very good, and the ice cream flavors unique! Only one bathroom and understandably slow food prep (prepared fresh by a small team) were the only things keeping it from a perfect experience.
I would definitely recommend!

The kaleidoscoops near our hometown closed so when we came on vacation to carlsbad I was thrilled to have found this one that even offered food! The ladies behind the counter were very kind and sweet. Loved the outside seating area with lots of beautiful potted plants. The variety of ice cream is unmatched in any other ice cream chain! We had a great time and our food was delicious!

There is a sign on the door complaining that due to the economy they can't get help, so you have to be patient. The reality is the ice cream display is dirty and the flavors are not labeled. Come on owner, quit blaming everyone else and step up to the plate, clean it up and take time to label your ice cream. I personally would not want to work for you, and that's the reality if it which has nothing to do with the economy. Dirty, Ewww.

Patty Melt is so good with a side of waffles fries, a fountain soda, and finish it off with a banana split.

Okay, this place is really good for a few reasons. Obviously, they have really good ice cream choices that are high in quality. The surprising part is how good their food is! They make tasty cheeseburgers, incredible waffle fries, and (our favorite) the beef flips!

My family had a great time at this throw-back ice cream shop / cafe. Place looks old school and suites it well; service was friendly and prompt. Great selection of ice cream flavors and the flavors and textures were amazing. Would recommend the Candy Bar ice cream.
