Kaleidoscoops Ice Cream and More

A Carlsbad staple! Good fast food but GREAT ice cream scoops and treats. They also have a bunch of cakes and other stuff too. Decent sized patio for COVID times. And shoutout to the HS kids working there—they do a really good job!

The food wasn't that great. The burgers were sloppy made. The Chilli dog was way too salty, my daughter could not eat it. The ice cream was delicious. The service was amazing, everyone was very nice. Not worth $80.

Worse manager anywhere could possibly have. She is such an A$$ to the kids working. Big bully that shouldn’t be in charge of any business let alone someone else’s child starting their first job.

The ice cream was really good but the boys that were working there didn't have much customer service and one of them was talking dirty about women and he was slamming the doors open

Cozy shop for burgers, sandwiches, fries, tots, onion rings, and all kinds of ice cream options. We eat here whenever we're in Carlsbad. Always good food and friendly staff.

I and my wife came in for ice cream and we wanted waffle cones the young man behind the counter said they didn't have any made so we ordered a large cup of ice cream to go. The young man seamed to be upset and was slamming the top glass sliding door. He dropped a white cloth on the floor he had been whipping his hands on and picked it up and continued to wipe the counter off with this cloth he picked up off the floor, before I and my wife left town she need to use the restroom and when she went in to use the restroom she found if filthy and unclean. We definitely won't stop in for any further visits, this is the reason for a (2) ⭐️⭐️ review 🙄!

Lots of hard scoop ice cream flavor choices, fast service, indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped for ice cream only and the kids liked it!

I loved the ice cream here. I'm visiting from NC, and this is a cute ace to go on a hot day to cool off. I like how the staff works here and even put hot fudge on my ice cream at my last minute request. If I ever come back to Carlsbad, I'll definitely stop here.

Road tripping across the desert cities and stopped to get ice cream. They had other food here so we decided to grab lunch for later. We got the ice cream pretty quick from a very stoic and unenthused cashier. Then we proceeded to wait another 15 minutes for this depressing turkey sandwich even though it wasn't even that busy

Cash only with no ATM. Then customer service helped themselves to order for me, bc they didn't listen then charged me way too much for frankly not a good product. I hope this owner looks into these type of experience bc cash only typically has more theft.
