We stopped in for Sunday morning breakfast on a National Park Tour in between Carlsbad and White Sands. We arrived and saw the waiting area full. The host was helpful with getting our names, we were sat within twenty minutes. It’s obvious that the restaurant is short-staffed. We’re understanding in that situation. But it’s completely unacceptable that the servers were yelling/criticizing the host with customers around. It wasn’t a private critique, they were shouting at him at the host stand. One was a short red-headed woman with a undercut and the other was Tabitha. Our server, Tabitha, was experiencing hot flashes and expressed that three times before we ordered our food. We just wanted to get food. The breakfast was not bad, not incredible. But towards the end of our meal, Tabitha yelled at the host again about how she was “doing his job for him”. She proceeds to introduce herself to new tables that she was doing three jobs at once. I’m a former server and host, her behavior was disgusting and we made sure to apologize to the host on our way out.

Rule#1 be nice to them they will be great to you.....one of a very few places to eat in carlsbad. Short staff and some supplies. Which is normal here....

The night manager Xzavier was yelling at his staff in front of customers. Using vulgar language toward a worker and being rude to me and my family when we tried to explain that we saw a roach.

Waited to be seated and the server just looked at us and walked away. After being seated took about 15 minutes to get drinks. Ordered and waited almost an hour to still receive NOTHING. Left without being served. No one came to check on us throughout that time. Nor did anyone apologize for the the wait or explain why it was taking so long when there were only 4 families 2 of which had already received their food.

Do not go here! I placed a curbside pickup order. Should have been ready at 1014 am. At 1034, I went inside. Only 2 cooks, not that many customers.....couldn't refund my money. Turns out my order was ready, but they didn't have potato pancakes...I said just give me regular pancakes. Nope, they gave me more potatoes. So I had cold, congealed scrambled eggs, cold hash browns, no toast, and the other order of potatoes that were so hot the plastic container was melted. My dog enjoyed it at least. Stay away from this place!!!

Slow service, employees are playing around in the back. Food was Luke warm when I got it. Another customer came on to eat sat down had a different server start helping him. The guy left to get the customers drink and never came back. The customer got up and left. I mentioned something about it to my server. A little later the manager came out looked in my direction smirked and went back to the back. There was only 2 customers in the place the other guy and myself. It's a young crew with no guidance or proper management skills for this type of establishment. Afternoon shift.
