Just, generally unfortunate. There were very obviously about two employees working that evening so it was hard to be upset when the waitress was seen running around the dining room simply doing her best. It was not as hard to be upset about how uncannily like meat the pancakes appeared. Imagine pancakes that spread to the size of the entire pan, did not rise at all, and then were burnt to the point of crispiness while miraculously maintaining a soggy interior. Also, they were called chocolate pancakes on the menu, but the flavor was closer to Brown. Though unpleasant to eat, twas undeniably a culinary marvel.

Worst Experience of Ihop #3362 on 12/28/21 @ 08:29 and I've visited many across the nation. Waitress was extremely unprofessional telling customers "look im the only one here, so it will be a while you decide if you want to stay" and food was a joke,Belgium waffle was off. never again carlsbad Ihop

Worst IHOP experience ever! Waited for our food for one hour. The inside of the restaurant is full of flies. The restaurant is empty and they seat us right next to the kitchen entrance. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

The host was great, he was super friendly from the moment we walked in until the time we left.
Our waitress was nice but at times was a little rude. She got snippy when a couple asked to sit by a window, however she seemed to be babysitting the rest of the staff. One girl was sleeping in a booth with a blanket and she had to tell her to get up and that she was on the clock and would call whomever if she didn't get back to work and a few moments later we could hear her telling another one to take the food out and had to be firm with her to do it. It just so happened it was our food. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito that comes with salsa and when he asked for it, he was told they don't have any, something he should have been informed of when ordering. They acted like it was no big deal, so he had a very dry burrito. Had he known this he would have ordered something different. My food wasn't bad, but my hash browns were cold.

Food was ok, server was nice but seemed a little all over the place. They had her doing other things so I know if was not her fault she was busy.

The worst iHop I've ever been to in my life. We placed an online order in a hotel very close to their location. The order arrived incomplete the first time, but not happy with it that, the other dishes came badly done: some reese's pancakes without any reese's, burnt potatoes, a meatless and burnt omelette ... We went to the place to claim the pancakes and they tell me that they do not have 2 of the drinks that we ordered (4 were missing the first time), that they cannot make a refund because we did it through another page, which they redirected us on their official page.
I've been waiting around 1h for them to take care of me and give me my money back.
A 0 for that location and its management. I do not recommend it at all!!!!!!!!!

My family and went to this IHOP on our way back home after seeing Carlsbad caverns, the staff staff was amazing and super friendly, the food was delicious and our overall experience was great. Our waitress with the bright red hair was on point and made all of us enjoy our time and food. Thank you for a great experience!

I would not rate this place since they have been rude and racist! We went on Christmas Day 2022 to this restaurant after a really long drive. We stopped by at this IHOP since we stayed at the hotel nearby only to be sat for 15 mins with no one attending us even though my fiancé looked at the waitress a couple of times and most importantly to not have been served water as well. Now mind you there were just 4 tables occupied that time. Couple of ppl came after us and were waited on. That was the time we said ok thats it and we left. Only for the lady who directed us to our seats ask what happened did no one attend to you’ll and we said it’s too late now to have waited so long! Now we don’t usually eat at IHOP but the service and attitude towards their customers here is questionable. The most ridiculous time we have ever had.
I would suggest this chain to train their employees well it’s the lack of training and questionable attitude that impacts businesses.

No staff,no kitchen help. Waited 30- hour to be seated. We were told short on people. They lost completely a group of 5-6 before even being seated. A business can't have that type of monetary loss.
