Virgin River Hotel and Casino

The main wall in my room has a door into the next room for those who wish to book two adjoining rooms and move between them without going outside. The door is inexusably thin as is the shared wall. My neighbor had the tv volume somewhat (not horribly) loud and I could hear all the dialogue of the show they were watching. I called the front desk and they patched me through to security who told me they would send someone out to talk to my neighbor. Thirty mintues later and the volume was just as bad. I spoke with security a second time and they said their guy stood outside my neighbor's door and couldn't hear anything so he didn't talk to my neighbor. I said send him out again and I would let him into my room to hear how loud it is. Ten minutes later he showed up, entered my room, and agreed. Then he talked to my neighbor. My neighbor then turned the volume down to a moderate level. Better but still louder than acceptable. I have never experienced this at other motels. The walls here were not constructed with sound proofing in mind. It would take remodeling to fix the problem. However, there is no excuse for having such a thin shared door installed between the two rooms. Most of the sound passes through there not the walls.

I wiil never stay here again.

my uncle one $7500 paid the taxes on it and everything and then staff Came to him later that night said there was an error and took all the money back after they had paid them out later that night at 12:00 AM they kicked him out of his room and off the property and we had to go back to Saint George for the night. Very unsatisfied very unprofessional would not stay don’t play there not worth it. He won the money fair and square from a slot machine.

2 star on rooms because as old and minimal as they are, the staff does a great job. Just know the towels and comforters will have frays. There's no smooth sheets or plush blankets BUT it is clean...floors, sink, walls all clean so hats off to the housekeeping and maintenance crews

Worst hotel and casino I have ever been in. I have a small Poodle.
Called for a room. They said NO pets.
Went into casino and seen several with dogs. Some even had them in their lap while playing. So I brought mine. Was told to by security that dog had to be on floor. I will NOT go back after that. You have lost a good paying customer.

The rooms were a little undesirable. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and it was so dirty. You can tell it has not been cleaned in a long time. The guy next door parked himself outside my door smoking constantly. That was a little scary. The casino and food pretty good. I might stay here again just to eat. The female bar tender not the friendliest but made a good Cosmo.

We make a 9 hour drive multiple times a year. Mesquite is pretty much in the middle. We love having a very affordable option to stop and sleep with our 2 kids and 125lb dog for the night. The rooms aren't fancy. But they are always clean. That's all we care about. We love to go to the Cafe in the Casino for dinner and breakfast. We usually split 2 Dueces meal (SO MUCH FOOD!). Again not fancy but the food is good and the place is clean. It's a big deal to us to find a place that allows our dog. Then for it to be very affordable is just the cherry on the top.

The ham and egg breakfast is enormous. You'll take lots more ham home for three more mornings. Also, the prime rib special is our favorite.

It was a nice little casino to just go have a good time. They definitely have good food and the restaurant that beverages are pretty good .

Rooms are a little old but still cozy all the same! Me and my boyfriend came down for Christmas to see family and the staff were wonderful, breakfast was great too!

Great place to stay! Reasonable prices, kind staff, sufficiently clean but could be improved on. It would also be nice to add a mini fridge in the room.
