Virgin River Hotel and Casino

Stayed 2 nights, 25-27 September 2022 (Sun-Tues), everything was excellent! The room was spacious, the A/C was effective, bathroom was very clean and fully functional, and plenty of parking, in fact I parked right in front of my room. The pool and hot tub were very good, only minor problem was no pool towels so you had to bring a room towel, but plenty of deck lounges, some in shade, some in the sun. I ate at both the buffet and the cafe and the food was great, delicious prime rib at the buffet (plus many other items), and the cafe was top notch. I ordered the full rack of ribs and could eat less than half, my take-out container must've been at least 3 pounds. And at $19 (includes soup or salad, potato, veggies, and 2 rolls), it was an incredible bargain. Best of all the room was only $27/night with NO resort fee, about 1/4 of what you'd pay in Vegas. I was very pleasantly surprised, plan on returning soon for at least 3 nights.

This is the best value for your stay Sunday through Thursday. The food in the cafe was good with fast friendly service and affordable prices. There was a bowling alley, casino, bingo, 2 golf courses and more.
Beautiful setting, nice pool and large parking lot. It was really q quiet at night and sleeping was a breeze. We'll be back

If you are looking for a place that just has bare minimums, like a bed & bathroom then this place will work great for you. The rooms are absolutely no frills and the price reflects that. We just needed somewhere to sleep so it is fine. No fridge, no coffee maker in the rooms and potentially bring your own towels, they don't provide much.

Great little casino and hotel with great food. Service was very good, and were very attentive to our needs. Food was great and the price was even better with their specials !! You must stop there and have a bite of their special dinners in the cafe/diner. Great alternative to the buffet if you don't want a full blown buffet. At about half the price !!!

Honestly if you want to stay here I promise you will be taken care of. This place hires honest workers and truly stands by providing a space for the customer. I moved from Denver to California this past weekend and stopped at this hotel for my midway point. Honestly was such an exhausting trip, and I left the following morning at 6am. I was in such a hurry because I was woken up by a loud sounding alarm and was pretty shaken up by it. With this, I didn’t thoroughly check my room and ending up leaving behind a very sentimental sweater and headphones that were over $300. I thought immediately, yeah those headphones are gone. Well when I called for my sweater I was unaware about my headphones also being gone, and they told me they’d ship my sweater. When I found out my headphones were gone I called back immediately and they told me they found them in the room and figured they were mine so they shipped them to me! I honestly figured someone would swipe them because of how expensive they are, and I was so grateful that they have people working there who are trustworthy and care about being honest than coming up on an expensive item. Thank you so much Virgin River hotel for shipping me my items and with that, having them get here quickly!!!

Elevator was broken 3rd story room. Got to the room and even when locked you could see daylight around the door. Furnace blew either hot air all the time or cold air you couldn’t set the temperature so we just shut it off. Bathroom wasn’t clean chairs were stained. And 1 pillow per person and they was small pillows. Then the noise was ridiculous if a group walked by and was talking in a normal tone u could understand them as if they was in the room with you. We really are hoping there isn’t bed bugs. Last rooms available in mesquite will I think I know why they was the last ones. Time to rebuild virgin river

We come for the prime rib special often. Service in restaurant was very good. The prime rib is delicious, especially for the price.
The last 2 times we stayed over, the room was not clean. They have dropped the ball after improving their standards with Covid.

Okay, I only gave them one star for this trip. They are our overnight stop for 20+ yrs. However, this time, we decided to go to the buffet. We usually have our own food or go out. We were so incredibly disappointed with the buffet. Our waiter didn't want to work or help any tables unless they were a bigger party. The man who was at the "prime rib" cutting station honestly couldn't have been more rude and disrespectful. There was even a super kind man who stepped in to help us and even told the worker how out of line and disrespectful he was being.
That said, we will still use this place as our midpoint stopover (just NOT the buffet). The rooms are very basic. We have noticed that they have been upgrading the beds, which is a super great thing. I don't want to take away the whole staff and how helpful and friendly they are for the most part.
BUT, I must also say how horrible cigarette smoke filled this place always is. Even makes standing in line to check in/out, you will smell as though you have smoked a carton in your own car with the windows up.

We came here for their free room night stay. The hot tubs were amazing and clean. Their buffet was incredible. I had their country night buffet and seafood buffet. Both were excellent. This was a fun place to get away and have a little fun.

Have stayed here a few times as an over the road truck driver. About $35 a night during the week with tax. Very nice accommodations although the rooms lack Amenities. However they are certainly clean enough and serve its purpose especially if you're there to hang out at the casino.
