Love local diners and cafes! I stopped in for a snack after a long hike at Indian Cave. This place has a full bar. We ordered chicken strips and onion rings and they were delicious. Service was great also!

After reading reviews on how great this place was we had to check it out. Showing up waiting to be seated we were greeted "can I help you with something??" As if we were being a nuisance. When we asked if we could get a table for 2 we were looked at as if we asked we were mental. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich and it was a surprise and looked great. After digging in realizing the food had absolutely zero seasoning. Place could be way better with a touch of salt and pepper on food.

Food is Amazing!
There is no doubt it's homemade cooking. Portions are more then fair, food is Great. Then there are the deserts. Oh, save room or do what I do. Get it to go. Lol!
I stop in whenever I am in the area.

Extremely fast and courteous service! I highly recommend the chicken fried steak, tasty potato salad, and delicious strawberry rhubarb pie!

5 buddies and I stopped here on the way back from a hunting trip because one of them needed to use the restroom. Best bathroom stop ever!! I had the large Chicken Fried Steak and it was easily the best I’ve had in a decade. No exaggeration. This place is now on our permanent stop for this annual hunting trip. Wow!

If you are traveling through Nebraska you have to stop here! The service is wonderful, the food is great (as are the prices) and you get lots, as you can see!😁

Excellent home style food. Very good service and generous proportions. The chicken fried steak was real steak battered in-house not a frozen soybean patty. The onion rings were cut and battered in-house and filled the plate. My wife got chicken straps that looked more like three filet breasts.

It's easy to miss but definitely worth the stop! Everyone was very friendly and they make one of the best chicken fried steaks I've had.
