Six Mile Cafe

Went inside this cute little unassuming house/cafe and was greeted by the waitress, Carmen. She was very friendly and helpful. Talked with her for a bit, she answered all our questions and was very informative about the menue. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries, my husband ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy with peas. We also ordered the fried cauliflower as an appetizer.
The food came out, and as you will see by the pictures, all home made. I have to say, it was the best burger I have had in a very long time! We both enjoyed our meal very much! If you are traveling down highway 75, just outside of Dawson, you must stop and give them a try! You will not leave hungry or disappointed!! Thank you 6 Mile Cafe for a wonderful lunch!!

Stopped for lunch while driving through Dawson. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. The interior is cozy and the staff was very welcoming. My husband and I ordered the chicken fried steak and Salisbury steak meals. Portions were very generous. The food was delicious! The pie selection was amazing. Couldn't leave without trying a piece of the strawberry rhubarb and dutch apple pies. ❤️❤️❤️

A place in an old house in the middle of nowhere. Very clean, lots of parking. Excellent home cooking! Friendly employees. Reasonable prices. Have eaten here several times. Highly recommended!

This little drive by don't look like much but I promise you give them a try. It's small, personable and you're greeted as you walk in. It's a must stop every time we drive that way. Food portions are huge, think doggie box, it's crispy if it supposed to be, and ranch dressing gets left on your table. Condiments come in bottles. Wait staff is fun, easy to visit with and seems to always be there when you need them. Give it a try!

Still the best food- drove from Kansas City KS to Fairview Nebraska just for this delicious meal. Worth the drive 😀

I had the chicken fried steak it was great my wife had chicken strips that were huge the man that sat by us had a tenderloin sandwich that was big as the plate with loaded with French fries recommend this place to all

Lady tried to over charge me $10 I spoke up. She then refunded my card but the pending transaction then would not let me pay for my food. So after waiting 20min. Could even afford the food all because they screwed up & had the PENDING TRANSACTION. By the way $4 for fries & the smallest amount I've ever seen is just ridickulous . NEVER AGAIN .
