I was very happy. It's a simple diner in a renovated-looking house on the side of the highway. The staff was what I expected in their kind of small-town hospitality, and this meant very friendly and very prompt with service. Our order consisted of the shrimp, Philly, and cheese balls. We both thought everything was delicious and since I've had good Phillys before the one thing that blew me away were the fries. The were gigantic, hot, and the perfect degree of crispy, and were literally some of the best fries I've every had. Fantastic experience and I would eat here again when I'm in the area.

I've heard about six mile cafe. It was a great experience. Friendly service, fast service, a very home like atmosphere. I ordered the chicken fried steak, because I love chicken fried steak, omg it was awesome, very tender and delicious. My husband had the hot roast beef, he loved it. I think we have found our favorite place to eat.

Great place to go have some fantastic food at a very reasonable priced menu. Home style cooking with a very friendly staff. Friday and Saturday evenings are very busy, but the Prime Rib is worth the wait, if there's any left. Noon specials. Sunday's noon has a choice of pan fried chicken or roast beef with all the fixens. Order off menu all other times. Open from 10am to 10pm seven days a week, unless posted. Great place to visit.

The Six Mile Cafe is one of the best surprises I've had in a long time. It's just a few miles north of the Kansas-Nebraska border and is located in an old farmhouse. The people that run it are fabulous and the food is excellent. If you come a little late for lunch you may have to wait for a seat. Do not miss this diamond in the rough. You will not be disappointed!

This is a small place. They have great food! Service is usually good. We stopped today, a Saturday, special of prime rib, potato, salad, roll and drink. We had to wait about 15-20 mins to be seated. If your in the area, check it out!

Sweet Lady waited on us. Very kind & polite. Brought me a tenderloin size of my grandson's heed! Best fried onion rings ever. Poppers were scrummy also. Mens room was spotless & clean!

Incredible Food!! Honestly, just like Mom used to make. REAL Chicken Fried Steak, not a pressed patty. Real Mashed potatoes and homemade gravy. Didn't have rom for pie, so took that home. Awesome. Friendly staff, low prices!!

I have dined here many times, and have had EVERTHING on the menu. The Chicken fried steak and the onion straws are the very best!
We live over 5 hours east of 6 mile but detour through there and time we head west and on our return trip Great food! Great service!

The food here is fantastic. The menu has many different selections. The wait staff is fast, efficient, and courteous. It is refreshing eats compared to the same old local fast food joints. I can eat hear anytime. Well done.
