The interior is adorned with lots of reclaimed-wood accents, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

One of the standout features of Sump Coffee is their commitment to quality. They are known for being one of the best roasters in the Midwest, if not the entire country. Their house espresso blend is highly praised for its perfect balance of acidity, fruitiness, and floral notes. Good coffee, a bit on the pricy side. Usually make excellent seasonal drink specials. Whole beans can be good, and also expensive. If you are into 3rd wave coffee, it’s worth checking out. If you happens to go when it’s busy, prepare to wait a while. Nice atmosphere but not a lot of tables to hang out.

Best Coffee in the area. Be sure and get some beans to take home- you won’t be disappointed.

If you like rustic looks/tattoos/beards/coffee, then this is the place for you. After much hesitation on what to order, the barista gave me his favorite (Costa Rica) and told me to take a seat. He brought it out to me about 5 minutes later. I ended up staying 3 hours longer than planned. The service and atmosphere of Sump is top notch. I highly recommend it. Also, the drip coffee here is the best I've had in Saint Louis.

Amazing freshly roasted coffee, if you want to enjoy your coffee and are in the area, definitely check this place out!! My favorite drink here is their beautiful latte where you can taste some of the subtleties of the special coffee flavors you get from the coffee being freshly roasted along with it being vet mellow and smooth thanks to the perfectly steamed milk!

I just stopped in here for a quick to go coffee. It was a really neat place and the barista was very friendly and helpful, however my coffee was a whopping $6 (regular size espresso specialty drink with milk and flavoring). I love the punk/skull aesthetic here and you can tell they really care about their product...just be prepared to spend more.

The team is so friendly and knowledgable - super fun to bounce concepts off of! ALSO a huge number of our guests noticed and loved the uniqueness of Sump Coffee!! More people were claiming these coffees were their favorite than usual (Since we rotate roasters our guests are familiar with a lot of different roasters out there). We'll definitely be featuring them again sooner than later πŸ‘πŸ‘

The shop has a very unique and cool environment but it was empty when I experienced it. They were also playing Leon Bridges so that is always awesome in my book. I'm not sure how I feel about their presentation of their product but only because it is different from what I am accustomed to but it is nothing I would ever complain about. Overall, the coffee was really good and one of the best roasters and shops in the STL area.
