Have been a custom since they opened. I am so happy they are in my neighborhood. This is what city livin is all about. My complex coffee drink order is made to perfection with a splash of raspberry. The coffee is unbelievably good. Only quality ingredients, no corn syrup chocolate here. Spoil yourself.

If you haven't been to Shaw yet you are missing out!!! I have never had a bad experience and I am there often. The service is exceptional and so is the coffee. Do yourself a favor and stop in you won't be disappointed!!

Best coffee shop in STL! Great baristas who actually care about the health of their customers by strictly enforcing the face mask policy. I go here every day and I’m never disappointed!

The coffee here is *very* Expensive, but quite good. My favorite is the Costa Rican. I buy it whole bean, by the pound, and keep it in the freezer. Then I grind it as I need it just before brewing. I brew it with Brita-filtered water in a regular drip coffee maker. People say that it's the best coffee they have ever tasted. Not sure I agree with that, but it is pretty darned good.

Delicious coffee. Also have tea and other goodies.

he venue is really neat (a converted bank) but the offerings are less than desired and the prices are a little high. The seating area is more set up for idle chit chat instead of the laptop using crowd, like myself, which ultimately makes one feel like a stranger in a strange land. I wanted this place to be more but it wasn't. It was a nice place to visit and look at but ultimately it was a no-return for me and my girlfriend considering there are many other places around that offer more for less, even if they are not in an old bank building.

Love the open space, high ceilings, well spaced tables. My son & I got the Italian sodas to try something different-- very refreshing on a hot, St. Louis summer day!

I am serious about quality coffee, especially espresso. I was looking for some freshly roasted beans and thought I'd try Shaw's. The cafe is quite nice and is a comfortable place to be. Unfortunately, their beans were terrible. I essentially wasted about $30 on two pounds of what was supposed to be a medium roast for espresso. When I returned home and opened the bag to place the beans in my grinder I found the beans had oil spots on them indicating that they were not even close to a medium roast. I adjusted the grind and time to pull a decent shot of espresso and the coffee was just awful. No body, bitter and lacking anything close to what you would expect from a decent roast. I suppose if it were diluted in a milk-based drink it would be passable. However, as a straight shot of espresso - stay away!

I love the the coffee and the building. It was a old bank and still has the safe door in place. Where you can sit. Plants growing every where. Very relaxing place. Cool set up

First time visiting and it's cool. A nice relaxing place to get in your laptop and do some work
