Amazing atmosphere in a small cozy setting. Indoor and outdoor seating and excellent coffee. Also great smoothies and options for the non-coffee drinkers! Places like these are why we love The Hill so much.

Nice coffee house on the Hill (the Italian neighborhood). Used to be a bank so there are some nice architectural features. Notably they kept the vault room with all the deposit boxes and nestled some chairs inside to enjoy your coffee. They have some sidewalk seating as well as coffee couches and table seating inside. The coffee cup delicious. They roast their own and you can buy the beans to take home. They also have a baker on staff who makes some wonderful sweet and savory treats - the avocado bacon scones and the apple cake are to die for. Nice place to chill out one in a while.

I was a little surprised to see the remnants of a Bank inside. I ordered an egg and sausage wrap which was very very good and black coffee my daughter ordered green tea and a glazed muffin she was very impressed. We took a moment to walk around when we were done dining and noticed a gigantic Coffee Bean processing machine in the Next Room. Overall it was a very nice experience there on the HILL.

Entering this great coffee shop you are welcomed not only by the beautiful design and atmosphere but also with the smells of freshly roasted coffee. Not just fresh from a week ago (or a month ago like the large chain), but fresh from being roasted right there. It goes without saying, the coffee is absolutely fantastic; this coming from a person who grew up in Guatemala around coffee plantations!
The people are as great as their coffee also, which is rare in a place like this. Usually you get the snobs and know it all type. In my two visits there, so far, I've been helped by Cathie and Rebekah. Can't say enough great things about their customer service!!! I will continue visiting there b/c of the customer service. I roast at home so I can get great fresh coffee any time; but their attention to detail earned another customer.

Went back post covid and the place has changed! No more couches, server wasn't interested in serving. They still have signs about social distancing...really? HAVE to wear a mask and the coffee tasted a little burnt. So sad cuz I always loved this place. Atmosphere was cold and sterile.

Shaw’s has excellent roasted beans and the coffee is always good! Staff very professional at all times. I have been going there for five years now and enjoy the environment. I am so happy that they are able to stay open given these COVID-19 times.

Nice atmosphere and wonderful staff! Was there last week and the woman roasting the beans was so kind to a group of kids, explaining everything and answering all their questions. The only thing at was a little annoying was that their internet goes out about every hour or so. The staff was very nice in resetting it, but it did throw off mine and other patrons work. Also, they have very limited outlets. So basically great place to be, but if you need to really sit and get work done on a computer, not the best.

On May 21, 2021, I was so excited to take my sister to one of my favorite coffee destinations. I am embarrassed in hindsight due to the rude, bordering on mean, behavior of the staff. I used to brag and encourage people to visit Shaw's Coffee. Not any longer. Unfortunately, I will never return to Shaw's due to poor customer service.

Lovely little coffee place on The Hill. It's an old bank and the safe makes an interesting place to drink a cup of coffee! Its a nice meeting place for a couple or a group as there is ample seating. The coffee itself is pretty good coming from some friendly barista's.

When I lived closer I went almost weekly. I love this place. Lots of seating. Staff has always been friendly to me. Love the coffee and the food on offer.

What I love most is the atmosphere. It's very chill and a great place to grab coffee with a friend.
