Not as pleasant as it could have been. They have a great concept, the atmosphere was pretty chill, and the bao and soup was good.

We got a couple appetizers; yuzu popcorn chicken and gyoza. The chicken was over cooked with lots of small burnt bits, and the steamed gyoza was very wet like they were boiled not steamed.
On our main dishes bao2 we got the spring roll as the side items, but the spring rolls were cold and mushy in the middle. I didn't get a chance to tell our server because she didn’t return to our table until everyone was done eating their main dish, and the thing we had to say was not about the spring rolls it was that my partner/ toddler didn't get their meal.
We noticed other tables were getting served before us that came in after us. When we asked about their meal the server told us that our meal got served to another table, she also forgot the baby's drink with a lid 3 times, and the last time she told us there wasn't any cups and that they had to get some down. (We didn't ask for the cup initially, she offered one to us, it was weird she kept forgetting it, and then she had to go pull them out) We were there well over an hour, most of it waiting on our food and a plastic cup of water. The baby started getting cranky so we had to load the kids in the car and have my partner wait inside to get the check and the meal they forgot. We were all still hungry after leaving there. Service was bad and not worth the $98 bill. If you choose to go there, I would recommend pick up only, and stick with the bao and udon soup.

I have been dying to come to this place, but leaving with a little disappointment.

The waitress was very nice to us, she exchanged our poke bowl because bowl tasted very bitter and fishy.

I think the owner of the place really needs to step up and work for the customers.

Their ingredients tasted very old and fishy.
The manager needs to train the chefs right; make them try real curry, poke bowls that are good so that they can learn.

Also, price is too high for what you get, they should invest more on the food and serving customer instead of making their chair look nice.

I would give 1 star for food.
But great waitress and atmosphere makes it 3 stars.

Nice restaurant with nice atmosphere. Food is great. it’s not the Asian food you may think of, but with something better and creative

The "baos" are very pricey for their size but they are so soo good that I don't mind spending here. It's like they take the bread of what is a traditional "baozi" maybe a bit more on the sweeter side, and use it to make a sandwich with diverse assortment of fillings like soft shell crab, wagyu, spicy pork, etc. I highly recommend the soft shell crab. The wagyu is also good, but it's kind of like a burger so it may be offputting to some. The thai ice tea is alright, but the boba in it is attrocious and plasticky. There's not usually a wait, and the interior is very dimly lit and romantic.

This is a very intimate restaurant...small low key and quick service. Like all restaurants, they are short staffed so I understand the service time. Food is great, features are better. Prices are very reasonable seeing that it's in Clayton. Kitchen closes at 930 but drinks continue. I was told there will be a late night hour coming soon so I'm excited

Delicious tofu and yam mini bao, margarita, and char siu fries. All on happy hour until 6pm!

Was SO excited to try this restaurant with a group of people. Got in the door only to find out they require a vaccine card to give them your business. Not everyone in our group was prepared for that. We did not see that restriction on their site and mentioned it to the woman who greeted us at the door. She mumbled something about maybe mentioning that to someone. We went to A1 Sushi and had an amazing meal.

Service is poor and rude in person. Website says they deliver but every time I’ve tried to order they cancel without explanation. Food portions are small. Food is tasty, so if you like an expansive snack it’s a good place.

I remember this place and I remember loving it so much. A few weeks ago I decided to take my two friends out for dinner. We made a reservation but there was nobody there to seat us for the time of our reservation, we found a table that was empty really close by and just sat there, five minutes later the person greeting/waiting on tables greets us in and tells us to get up and go back and then come back in if we don’t have a mask. We were already seated, I understand that some places might be short staffed but everything was delayed and cold we waited about 45 minutes for our food if not more, the place was pretty empty. They even forgot to bring a silverware napkins and our drinks. They remember to bring our drinks out right before we were leaving which was a huge turn off for me because we asked for them twice. Maybe it was this time hopefully next time I decide to try them my experience will be better again.
