I LOVE this place! The food is so delicious and fresh tasting! Drinks are a little pricey. Staff is very friendly!

Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and great laid back loungy environment. I can't wait to go back. Can we get one in KC??

The BAO is fantastic. I am here on business and have eaten their food 3 times. My first 2 orders were on Door dash. The food was delicious. My last trip was in person and I was blown away. The food is absolutely second to none when fresh. Don't get me wrong, delivery is fantastic, but there's just something special about having your food steaming as it gets to the table. The atmosphere is really pleasant as well. All around I loved my experience and will be returning as many times as I can while in town.

Delicious and highly recommended! We got the soft shell crab and BBQ board. Cocktails all looked great as well!

Definitely a great date spot to bring someone and have idle conversation. Great ambiance and a hole in the wall gem.

In terms of the food, it is rather unique since it is my first time trying the bao sliders. The are delicious but rather small and hard to get filled from them. It kinda feels like you are filling up on appetizers for a meal. It does feel upscale so the prices do reflect that which I didn’t mind too much as you pay more for the feel of the place. I’ve also had the fries and weren’t too notable. I would come again to bring a date but not to get full.

After being sat at a table, it was 12 minutes before a server came to greet us. This was on a Tuesday night after 7 pm. We scanned a QR code at the table only to be told it was out of date and we had to reference a paper copy. Our server asked us twice if we wanted to order food and twice more if we were SURE we didn't want appetizers. It felt like a high pressure sales pitch. The drinks were fine.
There was 1 server taking care of the 19 people in the restaurant (yes, I had enough time to count), 1 food runner and the back kitchen staff. The building itself smelled like hair chemicals.
I also visited this establishment in January 2021, only to be told they couldn't serve alcohol because they didnt have enough staff. Meanwhile, we were the only guests in the place and the staff was rolling silverware. I will not be returning.

This was my first time at this restaurant. It is a strong 5 start restaurant. The bartender is amazing! The atmosphere is the best! The staff is very knowledgeable and makes great suggestions! If you have been thinking about going here then do it. You won't be disappointed!

Food was good and 2 sliders were filling. Also, the spring rolls were delicious. This place is very vegetarian/pescatarian friendly which is definitely a plus. I didn’t put 5 stars because there was a weird smell when I walked in that reminded me of pool water that I didn’t enjoy.

The outside isn't well marked so it's kinda easy to miss. The food, teriyaki bacon and truffle bao and fries, were outstanding! I would love to try some of the alcoholic beverages they serve, very original for what I typically run into. Their selection is challenging for a family environment except for they currently seem to be a very undiscovered location. Promote this business!

This tasted delicious but logistically it was a nightmare. The textural complexity of a sunny side up egg on a burger inbetween a bao bun fuels the wet wipes economy.

The comedic aspect being you're forced to eat it on a micro cutting board.

Needless to say it was really f**king messy. In hindsight I should have ordered the katsu bowl and kept my dignity.
