A modern Bao Bar that truly lives up to its name. The place has a wide menu with a lot of food and drink options. The Bao was wonderful! My favourite was the fried chicken Bao. The Shrimp Katzu curry is also brilliant too. Our waitress (Jessie) was polite, kind and very quick with our orders. We had a great experience here!

I was extremely pleased to see an establishment not using one use plastics, kudos on that decision. Paper straws and wooden spoons! We were greeted with a smile, left with one on our faces and satiated. The food was really fun and tasted great. The decor was sophisticated. The service excellence. The drink choices fun and savvy. One of my favorite dishes is soft shell crab and theirs was well prepared and made me want more. Wasn’t crazy about the fried spring roll. On the weekends do make a reservation. Bon appetite.

Everything was flavorful and filling. The soft shell crab bao was the favorite out of the dishes we tried. They also did a great job with covid precautions with masks, checking vaccination status at the door, paper plates, and spacing out tables.

Have had amazing bao before, so wanted to give this place a try. The service was very, very slow, and the food took around an hour. Restaurant was not very crowded, it just felt like the waitstaff was burnt out. The Mala hot chicken bao was very good, and the rest of the bao I tried was good as well. Three bao with some fries is quite filling. Overall the bao itself was quite tasty, but the experience as well as the higher price point for the offerings would probably make me order online or seek alternative spots.

I got the Yin Yang Don on the first day of the new menu release. It is one of the best quality restaurant foods I've ever had. It was half lobster, half tuna, with fish eggs and sesame seeds parting the two. Under it, a bed of sushi rice cooked and seasoned very well. You eat with a spoon, and smash your rice and fish into bites of nori. It's an engaging and delicious experience.

It's a bit pricey but the food is fresh, flavorful and delicious. We had the mala hot chicken, crab and shrimp Baos. The Baos are small and I needed 3 to feel full. The service was good but it took a long time (about 20-30 min) for our dine in order to be ready. It was our first time trying Baos and we loved it.

It took more than half an hour to serve the food, and the food was cold when served; I had to ask for a re-heat. The lobster Bao and the beef bowl tasted good. The others were just so-so. It was too dark for me to take a photo of the food.

Amazing service and food. My boyfriend and I went out for lunch and wanted to try something different. The food was great, flavorful. And the ambiance was so pretty

The sandwiches were good. The fries were cold and stale. Not worth getting as a side. The spring rolls were a bit overcooked and the inside was mushy. For 2 meals & a side of spring rolls, our total was $60+. I was a bit disappointed in our food tonight. We are regulars & typically the food is better, which is why I gave it 4/5 stars.

Great food, friendly staff. This particular night my friend and I went, I could see the restaurant was understaffed. However, Fran and the male server (I forget his name) were working hard and ensured we and all other guests had a great experience. They worked so fast too. The food was so good, we each had to get a Survivor combo to-go. The cocktails were fantastic. I got the Respect the Geisha and the Botanical cocktails- both very unique and smooth. The Snow Maiden sake is an absolute must as well, even if you're not a huge sake person. We had their popcorn chicken, spring rolls, gyoza, pork belly bao, lobster bao, friend shrimp bao, teriyaki bacon bao and hot chicken bao. I only got pics of some of the cocktails and food but we ordered a lot. Decently priced too. Highly recommend!
