The Chicken House

Chicken and waffles is good. Hash browns a little salty but good if you like salt and pepper. As others stated, sounds like the buffet should be skipped. We ordered off the menu and it came out well.

Our waiter was amazing! Loved our mimosas! $9.00 where can you beat that! The fried pickles was enough to feed plenty of people, had plenty to take with us. Looked very nice since the last time we came. For sure we will be back! Thank you!!

I dont know why this restaurant has 3.0 stars it should at least have 3.5 or 4.0. Granted yes its not a breakfast served on a good platter but it is still good. I wouldn't say homemade cooking in the breakfast buffet but it was still good. They have live entertainment singer, have Starbucks and have a gift shop. We didn't have anything else besides the breakfast buffet so cannot vouch on the rest but they was nice and friendly.

Let’s be honest… The only reason we went here is because there’s a giant chicken out front. Why else would you stop?!? But I have to say our food was pretty fabulous and our server Kate was so nice. Meant to take pictures before we started eating, but did not, So pretend there was another half on each plate. I had chicken and waffles… Yum! My daughter had chicken fingers and french fries and my husband had country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. Recommend all. My 10 year old was a little disappointed there were no stuffed animal chickens in the gift shop, but such is life.

Menu was extremely limited. Half or more of the menu will not be available to you if you do not eat pork. When we arrived we we're the second table of diners but it took 40 minutes after we ordered to receive 2 plates of food. I might add that I was missing my pancake that I ordered and after almost an hour of being there and our dinners eaten, I was offered to have my pancake put in a to go box because it still wasn't ready. Many tables had arrived during this time and still sat without drinks much less any food on the tables. All we kept hearing was that they ran out of everything. Food prices are astronomical for such small portions. Do not recommend.

Breakfast was so good. We were late on getting to the buffet for breakfast but that's fine we had some other good stuff ☺️. Friendly staff too!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when going to the chicken house. Pretty standard breakfast buffet, nothing over the top. The food was good, just go in understanding that it’s kind of like a hotel buffet, not mind blowing.

The food was ok. The fries are your standard frozen krinkel cut fries.
Chicken sandwiches were pretty good. Their jalapeño poppers are really good. I would recommend those. Decor is cute sort of a farm barnyard theme. And you have to love the giant chicken out front. That is what attracted my attention to it. Our server was very nice and we had great service. They have a buffet but we did not try that so I cannot comment on it.

A little higher in price than anticipated for the little breakfast buffet. Facilities are clean and employees are courteous. The surroundings is farm like but is very interesting. A nice little place to eat without a long wait

Throw a handful of nickels and you will hit 10 buffets in Branson but you will find few with such good food, service and charm as The Chicken House.

We came for their breakfast buffet that offered an amazing selection of yummy, home-style food. (see photos).

While we didn't partake in their famous dinner buffet, we understand it offers even more variety.

The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is a pleasant respite from the busy Branson strip just outside.

This restaurant also features a Starbucks on-site but I found their house coffee delicious.

This is a great place to bring large groups and families and I'd guaranteed to have something for everyone.

I read some if the negative reviews before coming but we came anyway and we are glad we did. Those bad reviews tend to show a lot about the people who write them.
