The Chicken House

Kind of a fun little place to visit for breakfast. On this day after the day after Thanksgiving, it was only a little busy. The wait was only about 20 minutes and a great buffet awaited, full of freshly cooked food; nothing cold, unless it was supposed to be. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. We look forward to stopping in again on our next visit.

Extremely disappointing! Take the picture of the rooster and leave the place. All breakfast food items were prepackaged and was done poorly. For buy one at 14.95 and get other at 7.95 is a gimmick to trick the mind. It totally doesn’t worth the food they serve. Live singing was good. The server and the person at the desk were really nice but I was there for food, not to socialize. Therefore, one star. Will not recommend and won’t be back either unless they change to serve better food and it reflects in their reviews.

Service was terrible. The server had no communication with the kitchen. My kid's grilled cheese was cold. They didn't tell us there was a buffet. They said was a 20 minute wait for the plates we ordered. Ok whatever. Another server was returning a chair that was from the table we were sitting at and hit my husband with the chair leg. 45 minutes later we paid for the sandwich and sodas and left. The chicken buffet at the buffet bar looked soggy too when I finally did see that it was available.

Food was just okay for the price. We spent $100 for 2 adults and 3 children. Two ordered buffet, which was a normal buffet. Chicken strips and desert were great. Service was fast too. Overall, okay. I guess good for food in a pinch.

Stacy has to be one of the best servers I have had in so long! Plus the food was delicious.

Nope. Ordered the chicken fried chicken. You'd think it would be safe? Not very good. Small piece of chicken tender meat, not great. The mashed potatoes were cold, didn't eat. Fried okra was OK. It was $16.99. Definitely won't go back. Too many good places in Branson.

We went on Sunday to the Seafood Buffet. Waitress did not know exactly the time buffet will starts, she let's know at 12pm then at 5pm. We came back at 5pm, we got lobsters 🦞 and crab legs, buffet did not have many options. Friendly staff. Live singer. Seafood buffet $100 a person.

We were there around 1 pm on a weekday. The salad bar was closed because they weren't busy. We couldn't order a side salad either. Mac and cheese was cold, which they were kind enough to heat up for me. Hubby's salmon was very bland and green beans were VERY peppery. Couldn't even bite through asparagus...very tough. Waitress was great!

The service was great.! The made me and my family feel welcomed and comfortable. We had the breakfast buffet, the food was okay. Would try again but for lunch or dinner.

The best thing about this place is the chicken out front. Food was what I could get from a hotel. Didn't really appreciate the guy singing and telling everyone he only worked for tips. I came to eat breakfast, not listen to someone sing. Not worth the $60 bucks I spent on the breakfast buffet for 4 people. The staff were very friendly.
