The Chicken House

Service was great. Food is bland. Gravy is runny. Fruit looks like it came out of a can. Wish I would have went with my first instinct and left after looking at the buffet.

The service was ok, but the food was awful. We didn't go with the buffet because all of the food on it looked old and dried out. The plated meals that we did get were so overly salted as to be inedible. Also, don't try the fried deviled eggs. The egg whites will be so overcooked they take on the texture of rubber.

The food was pretty good. Sonia was our server, and we loved her. Everyone was super nice & friendly.

We tried a new place to eat breakfast, the wait staff was great... But the chicken fried steak was super salty and the hassbrowns were undercooked and greasy... Can't say I'll ever eat here again.

Food was good. Portion size not the best had chicken and waffles the waffle was thin just had one for 15$ with two chicken strips. 47$ for two meals inflation hit hard. Service was great though!! 10/10

Very very bad do not recommend. Our food took forever to get to us. It was extremely dirty. The food was horrible, I had got the grilled lemon pepper chicken with rice and later that night I throw up nonstop. Never go there. Literally traumatized.

I'm a local and know from experience and word of mouth that this restaurant is just not good. It looks cool from the outside but that's it. I go out of my way to suggest tourists not go here and spend their money elsewhere. I'm not sure what's going on at this restaurant to make everyone's experiences so bad but they need to shape up because this is one of the worst reviewed restaurants in Branson. But I guess it doesn't really matter since they're getting money

Did not have the seafood buffet like they offer on Friday and Saturdays, it was left over Thanksgiving food that my 12 yr old said was bad. Turkey was still pink, ordered grilled lemon chicken and it tasted like it was rubbery and warmed up. Wife got chicken fried steak and was not impressed. We had to go find our own forks, waitress acted like everything was a big inconvenience, and they was not busy. 10/10 would not recommend.

Ok, we stopped in bc there is a large chicken at the door. Buffet sign outside but no buffet! Our food was just ok! Our sever couldn’t get the ticket correct and yes food came out wrong! This place was just bad. Restroom even smelled like a barn. I won’t go there tomorrow.

We came in almost at closing time and nobody minded! All staff was very attentive and food was super good!! We even got a free extra side of fries and was surprise with delicious cornbread!! Will definitely be back when visiting!!
