Loved this place. Very cool/cute setting. Had a great breakfast both days....yogurt parfait was amazing!!! They were short-staffed at the moment but still were very present, polite, and super friendly. Def a unique and "homey" place, when visiting.

Absolutely amazing food. Sooo many options, excellent service, excellent proportions, excellent prices! I come here every single chance I get. Highly recommend the Denver omelet, also their sourdough is to die for.

I would like to start by saying our server, Mariah? who just came from Ohio was AWESOME. I liked my Hawaiian pancakes. However, my wife's berry supreme pancakes were underwhelming. A few berries tossed on top of buttermilk pancakes with whipped cream. She did live the bacon. My son's sweet cinnamon pancakes were just sweet. He couldn't taste the cinnamon. BUT, they have great coffee. They have good specialty coffees, too.

It was a small place but they made it work well for them. Came for good coffee and ended up with that and great homemade yogurt and granola parfait. Will come back it was great choice and didn't feel bad for eating it

This was my boyfriends and I first time visiting this little establishment and I must say, it didn't disappoint!! Amazing, friendly and attentive staff, they made you feel like family and the food was amazing! I ordered the ham and cheese omelette and my boyfriend had the traditional breakfast. Food arrived to the table in a timely manner, even with them being very busy. We waited maybe 5 minutes for a table and the colorful decor of this little place, I just love it! It has a very home town and welcoming feeling, so another great little spot to visit for sure!

We having been coming to St Ignace for ten years. Walked into Java Joe’s ten years ago and fell in love with the adyal relaxed atmosphere. Joe and Sandy are always there working away and so friendly. Joe is a great tour guide and knows so much about the UP! Our favorite waitress, Donna, is always pleasant and we always feel at home when we visit. This is a do not miss restaurant if you are visiting the UP or going to Mackinaw Island.

Very busy, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. But, the coffee was excellent. The seating area is small but very friendly atmosphere. Plenty of gifts for yourself or loved ones. I didn't try their food but everyone looked happy.

Super cute spot to stop for breakfast and souvenirs! Right off the water; Java Joe's has a huge selection of food and coffee drinks. The location was a little busy, but the food reflects that in full. I had the classic breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs, your choice of meat, hash browns and fresh bread! Super yummy. My wife had the ham and cheese omelet which she said was very good. Great place to stop with a cool backstory! Check em' out!

Coffee is good! Lots of great latte flavors. I'd probably recommend dining in rather than taking coffee to go though. The front area is super small and it can be a bit congested if lots of people are waiting to pay or be seated. Staff was very nice and made some great lattes for my wife and I!

If breakfast is the most important meal to you, this is a must stop. So many unique options. Day 01 had the lobster blend omelet, others had flavored pancakes and all very tasty. Service was very friendly and fast. Atmosphere of a small Cafe yet they have plenty of seating.
Day 02, had the smoked whitefish eggs Benedict and added avocado, the flavors were perfect and it was sad to see it end.
Day 03 had the avocado omelet that was a perfect combination of feta, almond slices, black olives and avocado. The French toast pictured below
