Java Joe's is a must stop if you are in St. Ignace. Their menu is extensive and everything I have ever eaten there is delicious. Joe and his wife are the sweetest people and if you want a suggestion of where to go or things to do, Joe is a walking atlas of the UP. The atmosphere is fun. They do have limited seating so get there early and enjoy! Open 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. daily.

AWESOME staff!! Everybody was so friendly and helpful! Food was delicious, and the service was quick! Get there early though because the line was long on our way out of the restaurant at 10 a.m.

Great vibe and customer service in this little place. We came here because everyone needed coffee, and the reviews were pretty high. What we realized is that this place might be more known for the food, not the coffee. We didn't have a chance to try the food here, and we only got the coffee, so the final review is based off of that. There were four of us and each person had a different caffeinated drink. All had too much cream or milk in it. Maybe the baristas are newer and are still learning. Not sure. If you're a coffee connoisseur, you may be disappointed. But come out for the food and give that a go!

Do yourself a favor & have breakfast here! SO MANY pancake options and you can't go wrong with any. I had the buckwheat turkey crepe which was fantastic!! Joe & Mrs Joe make you feel at home. Don't forget to have a latte!

First: great coffee and food! Super friendly staff. Funny, hippie vibe with excellent prices. Check out the incredible tea pot collection.

Fantastic food, great coffee and a dynamite atmosphere! There's almost always a wait, but the good stuff is always worth waiting for :)
Personal favorite: Granola Joe's with banana. So good!!

It’s a nice family-style restaurant, just don’t come here if you are in a rush.
We probably came around 9:45 and left at noon, on a Wednesday. It took an hour longer than we were expecting. It was packed, service was slow. All the staff was very kind though. Pancakes were good.

Overall a great place to visit and enjoy delicious breakfast/brunch. Fun atmosphere with pictures, tea pots, handmade items, and seaside decor. First visit I got the coconut french toast and an almond joy latte, my husband got a skillet. Unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations, to me the latte had an artificial taste to it and my husband thought the skillet was bland. Second visit we went for a breakfast classic. We both got chocolate chip pancakes. I had eggs and bacon with mine. Everything was AMAZING. Best chocolate chip pancakes we've ever had and we love breakfast food. They have so many diverse options and a huge menu. Not sure about the specialty items but they hit the classics out of the park. I love their menu with some history and suggested vacation activities. Really enjoyed our time there. Grabbed some coffee beans to go too! Thank you!

We had just left our hotel heading to the island after breakfast and stoped for coffee not realizing it was a sit down restaurant. The minute we walked in the door the owners greeted my wife and three kids so warmly we had to stay and eat a second breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Don’t make the mistake and not stop.
