We came here after having a terrible experience at another coffee shop (local mocha) We shared that we were doing an adventure challenge (scratch of off book of adventures to do with friends) we asked for three random drinks that we could guess what they are. The gentleman was extremely kind and super into participating in our adventure. He put time and love into each drink and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back!! THIS is how you love people!!

You are my favorite place, Lantern! Even with moving across the country to Phoenix, I still can’t find a coffee shop as good as yours and the environment! I used to sing here at open mics pre-COVID and made so many friends here due to the communal environment The Lantern provides! Don’t get me started on John’s coffee making skills and the specially curated teas and extra products they offer. This place has my full support & backing. I always recommend my friends to study, meet up and grab a coffee here over any other place in GR! The owner is incredibly kind too. 5 million stars for this place!!!

Love the coffee and the atmosphere inside is great for meetings. The seating is a bit more spread out than some coffee shops. Grab a cup for the road on your way out.

Downtown favorite cozy spot for great pour overs, teas, and fresh coffee beans & blends

Authentic coffee favorites, delicious espresso, and a warm and cozy environment to relax and work in. Owned by a local couple that are both friendly and very sweet gentlemen. LGBTQ+ friendly. Only a short walk from the Celebration Cinema, so it's easy to grab a cup of joe and then get to your seat before a film starts. Prices are more than fair too. Chill location, I love it so much.

I dropped in for a pastry and paid a whopping $4 for the dryest poptart, which was supposed to be a cookie, that I've ever eaten. I could only take a bite because the only way I could swallow it was to wash it down with water. Not worth my money.

Incredible service. Jon is so welcoming to the space and he is seriously so knowledgeable about his products. If I lived closer I would stop here every day. If you’re in the GR area, you won’t want to miss them!

Normally not a huge fan of hipster coffee places like this, but the service here really won me over. Coffee is solid too.

Delicious! Wow! Best Carmel Latte I’ve had in a long time. Is it your espresso machine or your barista? I may never know. Anyway, great job!
