Black Lion Coffee & Café

They just opened and this area needed a local coffee shop like this! The roast and brew their own coffee from Ethiopia. The people working (possibly) the owners were psyched that I was here to try them out and gave samples of their delicious baked goods. Honestly, the sugar cookie wasn't the soft chewy overly sweet kind but more like a delicious tea cookie. I was pleasantly surprised. At the end of my coffee, snack, and work session, I bought a bag of their in house roasted coffee beans. Cheers to local businesses that take pride in their products!

I’ve been here three times, each time, the coffee has been wonderful. Same with the service, really great service. Very kindhearted people who work the shop. What has actually prompted me to write this review is the fact I left the shop and minutes later, the woman working came to the parking lot to give me my wallet I had just left. I honestly shouldn’t have been there at that point— I was waiting in my car a good 10 minutes before she came to see if I was still out there....I tell you, if I were her, I would have just put the wallet aside and waited for the patron to come back for it after 10 min...but she STILL came out to check if I was there. THANK YOU!!!!!

I almost hate to share a glorious review as it is a hidden gem! Owner and staff are Very friendly and customer- service oriented. Just a nice quiet coffee shop off the beaten path.

I love this coffee shop. I am new to the area and I've been worried that I wouldn't find a coffee shop close by with a hometown feel. The ambiance in this place is amazing. The Single Origin drip coffee was delicious, and the espresso was awesome. I plan to buy one of the mugs next time I go back...and at least one bag of coffee.

We've been coming to this place for over 3.5 years. We love the coffee and would highly recommend it. The coffee is by far better than any other shop around the area. The owners are incredibly nice and always friendly.

I was looking for a small local coffee shop and came across Black Lion on the net and decided to pay a visit. This is a very serious coffee shop run by somebody that knows coffee and takes it seriously. Well worth a visit and don't be surprised if this is your go to store. Inside is beautifully laid out and I can't wait until I can sit inside and enjoy my coffee. Well worth the visit and can't say enough good things about Black Lion. Impressed to say the least. I'm sure to be one of their regulars.

I pretty much never get coffee when in out, but whenever im near here I can't help but stop in for a cup. Good coffee, great service, definitely worth the money.

A small, friendly place. Good quality delicious coffee, roasted on the premises and good cakes. Our 5 year old (and my husband) enjoyed watching the roasting machine do it's business with an explanation from the owner. Great place. Highly recommend!
