Black Lion Coffee & Café

Black Lion Cafe now has bubble tea! We tried the medium cup of Thai Tea Bubble Tea on the left and the Black Milk Tea Bubble Tea on the right. Overall, I would say they were great. I've tried a lot of bubble tea in the area and I would say this place is comparable to them. Also, great outdoor seating and great place to have bubble tea outdoors with your pup. There's a row of tables and chairs on the side of the building and seating in front.

I liked the shops baked goods. My almond croissant was good. I was disappointed in the tea choices. I understand this is a coffee shop but the tea options were very very limited. I don't drink coffee but would like a nice drink when I have breakfast. They were also out of all the bagged tea options when I was there. The customer service was excellent though.

Super cool little cafe and rostery serving traditional and Ethiopian coffee and amazing French pastries. Trendy modern vibe with East African influence. Pistachio raspberry croissant is unbelievable.

If you take coffee seriously and appreciate the difference of a good quality blend and brew, then this is your spot. We could recognize it as soon as we walked in and smelled it, and our barista clearly put in the time and effort to make it right. We got a pair of large lattes for the road and were definitely glad we decided to get them from Black Lion. We liked the nice large size, too.

Love this little shop, coffee is excellent.

The ambiance is wonderful, they keep a coffee roaster right out in front, really cool touch. The interior is very inviting, with ample seating. They focus just on Ethiopian coffee and all of their single origins are excellent.

Great locally owned shop, everyone in Moco who loves coffee should give this place a try!

Great customer service! Ambiance is perfect, almond croissant is A-1! & their coffee is better than any popular coffee chain. This will be my go to place from now on!

The best coffee I’ve ever had! It’s such a treat to come here and enjoy a caramel macchiato with my family. I literally would pay double for this coffee. I’ve never had it this good ANYWHERE ELSE especially at a Starbucks. So much love and attention is put in each cup (starting from the coffee beans). Do yourself a favor and come here. You’ll be hooked forever!

Would be 1 star but the atmosphere was nice.

For a coffee roaster/specialty shop, the barista could not steam milk correctly to save his life. The milk foam was overly dense, to the point of staying in a ball with very little milk mixed with the espresso.

Also, the bags of beans did not have a roast date nor flavor notes which is weird since it is a roaster.

10/10 Experience. The croissants always taste fresh and are very fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The espresso shots taste is fantastic since the coffee beans are always fresh and when paired with the pastries they serve it truly makes for a perfect start for anyone's day.

Had an iced latte and it was excellent coffee! The flavor was more of a mild roast and super aromatic. Loved it!
