Great casual spot a little off of the main drag in Bar Harbor. I got the black bean quesadilla (pictured) which was delicious! My friend got a BLAT (BLT with avocado) which she also said was great.

The food is overpriced and under-quality for what they charge. There's a $9 appetizer that's literally just a pile of fries. No sauce, no toppings, just a serving of french fries.
The food is all cooked competently, but it just does not gel in the way you'd hope, nor in how the menu suggests it will. The chips were not salted, and the burger was cooked to order fine, but just did not taste very good (the Adam Bomb).

Unfortunately, based on our experience, I believe this place did not turn up as we expected from the reviews we read. Maybe they were having troubles in the kitchen that night. We did not have one of their lobster meals. The fish tacos we had were very bland, it tasted more like pollock than haddock. The portions were huge and wasteful. The black beans and rice were tasteless needing little salt and more spice. By the way, the appetizer of hummus with olive tamponade was tasty and well presented (see picture). The pulled pork was also undercooked but the thin crusted bun was not bad. The service was good. I had to apologize to my guests for dragging them to Side Street Cafe in Bar Harbor.

The lean machine burger and sweet potato fries were amazing! Visited again and tried the firehouse burger w black bean patty substitution plus soup which was average. Mac and cheese was mediocre. Lean burger buns were so soft and the spicy aioli really hit the spot!

Lots of vegetarian/vegan options - good service
We ate lunch here recently on our road trip to New England. We ordered make your own mac and cheese, loaded nachos and veggie quesadillas. The food was good, our server Travis was great. The restaurant was a bit chilly since they had the doors open but we found a table to insulate ourselves.

Service was amazing, drinks were tasty. Unfortunately the lobster Mac and cheese was bland, so I wouldn’t recommend it. Personally I’d eat a meal else where but stop in for their pie and drinks!

The pretzel was good, especially if you pay happy hour prices. I had the Serena Lobster which was below average (especially for what we pay for them), and hubby had the fish tacos. His feedback was "if surf tacos opened a place here, they would blow this place out of the water". Suffice to say, he was gravely disappointed with this place. While the service was good (hence the stars), the food preparations and execution was a disgrace to some of the fresh ingredients. Definitely not worth the money to eat here.
PS: also, these are one of the worst blueberry pies on the land. Do not order them here. Definitely not worth the calories!!!

Hands down the best dinner we had in Bar Harbor in 3 nights! Each and every item we ordered from the menu was spot on. Big portion sizes!! Mac n Cheese, pita bread with artichoke dip (simply terrific), wrap and burrito bowl.. Great selection of drinks, I tried the jalapeno margarita 🔥.. Desserts were❤️❤️

This is a great restaurant with lots of seating and great ambiance. The blueberry mint lemonade and blueberry juice is really good. We got the Mac and Cheese and it was really good. However you should avoid the chicken. It’s dry and just tasted like cheap meat.

My favorite place we went to on our trip. They have vegan options on the menu! The food was very tasty and service was good. We sat inside but the patio looked very nice! The restaurant was busy when we went so make sure to join the waitlist if you are there in peak season!
