I will always choose Rue Beignet over the competition. I've had friends who worked here and met the owner myself and have nothing but good things to say. I moved out of state years ago but every time I come back home I stop by Rue Beignet. And every single time I'm delighted with the quality of the food and the above and beyond service.

Very authentic beignets. Literally the only thing on their menu besides coffee and other drinks. I would’ve liked to try these with honey on top but the powdered sugar was soooo good. Definitely worth a stop on any road trip!

Ever since opening this was my wife's and my favorite beignet stop. It was close to our home the staff is very friendly, and everything they make is excellent. It is a little pricey, but probably needs to be considering their location and competition. The upside would be they're very nice with children, and even offered my youngest a free plate of fingers lagniappe.

Oh ma goodness. My family used to be slaves to the all mighty Coffee Call. We came to Rue Beignet with my in-laws tonight. What a surprise!!!! This place is just as great AND for us who live further away from LSU this place is AWESOME. THANK YOU THANK YOU for tasty goodness. One more thing, they gave us complimentary food AFTER we ordered.

Was with family who wanted beignets and selected Rue Beignet based on the reviews. Ordered 4 orders of beignets for pick up and was told it would be 20 min. I arrived after 10 and they were ready. Staff was very friendly. The beignets were hot and packaged well in a large box. The beignets were dense with lids of sugar. I prefer my beignets to be airy pillows, so I would not be back. If you have not had a ton of beignets to compare it to or you like dense beignets you might really love them.

Hands down my favorite place to get Beignets! We come here instead of going to Cafe Du Monde or Coffee Call! The owner is SO nice and is the sweetest thing ever! He brings you complimentary samples with every order! We definitely love Rue Beignet!!’
