Best beignets I've ever had. Made to order. Very friendly staff and owners. Good old school Community Coffee served here as well. Definitely some comfort food!

1st time to Louisiana on a historical tour with daughter and grandkids. We wanted beignets and Rue Beignets popped up in our search. We stopped in and were greeted with amazing hospitality, the beignets were awesome and the man making them came out to talk with us. Local art studded the walls and atmosphere was quaint.

My family and I came down to help with the hurricane relief and wanted to try some authentic beignets in Baton Rouge. We got the beignets, fingers, and were brought complimentary toes to try. They were all delicious and the fry was absolutely perfect. The insides were fluffy and perfectly complimented the taste. A few of those in my party have had the famous beignets in New Orleans, but we all agreed these were the best! I’d dare say these rivaled Tiana’s beignets in The Princess and the Frog. 👑 The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely the best! We watched our order of a dozen beignets bring hand made. He also brought some fingers and toes to try. The texture was perfect- so light and fluffy. Not heavy at all or too airy. It was clean and they were very friendly. Much better than the famous place in NOLA and my husband says even better than another place a local took him to in the French Quarter.

This was my first time to this place. I love the different beignet options, so you don't have to get the big ones. They have normal ones about 3"x4", "fingers" that are about 1"x4", and "toes to go" that are about 1"diameter.

While we waited, the cook brought plates with one finger each and covered in powdered sugar. The fingers we ordered came out shortly after and were delicious.
I definitely plan on returning sometime.

One note: the Cafe au lait is scalding temperature and took about 30 minutes to cool enough to drink, but I got a large, so maybe a smaller one would be ready to drink sooner.

The beignets were AMAZING! The owner prepared fresh ones for us and they were so worth the small wait. He even brought us samples while we waited on our larger order. He talked to us and introduced himself and was so friendly. We would highly recommend this place! Good coffee, good beignets and great customer service.

I love this place, the beignets are delicious. This is my favorite place to bring out of town guests to and for take out. The service is always good and friendly staff. The owner is so nice, tonight I got there and they were about to close so I was going to leave and he told me to go in and he still made me fresh beignets. When I was heading out it started pouring and he gave me an umbrella to walk to my car and not get wet. You just don’t see this kind of service and people anymore.

He was so sweet, brought us a few beignet fingers and toes while we waited for our beignets. He also included a free small coffee just because. Just the most happiest, humble, and sweetest person. Best service I have ever had and will definitely be back. "Two very enthusiastic thumbs up, fine holiday fun."

Cute shop. The owner was so kind and made us feel very welcome. Our beignets were light and fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.
