Beignets are fresh and good! Place is very cozy. They even have the mix to do beignets at home. We got it since we are from Phoenix and want to enjoy them at home 🙂

The best beignets in Louisiana. I enjoyed my coffee as well. The owner gave us a warm welcome and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. I can’t wait to come back again. This place was an outstanding find.

The only place to get beignets as far as I’m concerned in the BR area! Consistently delicious, fresh beignets. The owner is genuine, so nice, and likes to know where his customers are traveling from and how they heard of his business. As a bonus, we usually get way more beignets than we order. Always a treat when we stop in!

Love, love. Love the Beignets. The S. Korean couple who run the shop are very nice and friendly. Coffee was a little 2 strong for me but maybe it was just old. Highly recommend...

This place has AMAZING beignets! And I found them after my company bought some for us for an event. I go pretty often, staff is wonderful and it's always clean and tidy(minus sugar here and there from recent diners) highly recommended

Beignet with powdered sugar and cinnamon was so tasty! They were served hot and the center was doughy.

We traveled from out of state after reading that Rue's had the best beignets in town & we were not disappointed! The owner was so sweet & made us feel so welcomed. The beignets were light, fluffy & delicious!

Imagine wanting these delicious French desserts on the way home from a long road trip. We drove 15 minutes out of the way on the way home from Florida. Last year we stopped at a great place in Mobile and wanted to continue the tradition.
We walked into Rue and were immediately greeted by the owner. He went through the menu and we put in our order. We got regular beignets, an order of toes(basically small holes) and some fingers( long strips). The 5 minute wait for our golden brown beignets covered in delicious powdered sugar was well worth it. I also ordered a cup of traditional Cafe Au Lait which was tasty and much needed for our 9 hour drive.
The ambiance was very homie. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. In talking to the owner he said he had been open for over 11 years. This was his store and he cared for it greatly. You could tell he poured his heart into it with every beignet he served. It was well decorated with beautiful art that looked like he handpicked over the years. It seems like this was his passion and he loves what he does daily.
The front door has a sign on it that reads, Open 364 days a year. Closed Dec 25th. Having that type of work ethic truly comes through every bite you take of these amazing desserts.
