Magpie Cafe

I admit that I did not go for the coffee. I tried a parfait and a baked good to go. The chocolate and peanut butter whoopie pie was fluffy but not a lot of flavor. The parfait was just so sad. A few blueberries on top and an even smaller amount of granola in a barely full container to pour in the yogurt. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth, but the atmosphere seemed cool and the server was nice.

I love sitting outside on a chilly morning. The trees and foliage create a hideout for you to relax and enjoy your coffee. Magpie is my favorite cafe in BR because their espresso is brewed to perfection and they ALWAYS have vegan pastry options. I love the coconut yogurt with the granola and blueberries. You can bring your mug too! They’re wheelchair accessible too! There’s something for everyone at Magpie and the staff is VERY friendly and welcoming. It’s a great environment, thank you Magpie.

Servers are welcoming and kind. Ambience is decent. Tried the shakerato...it was smooth and light but not capped with much of a creamy foam.

Had a wonderful experience dining at this fine establishment. The coffee was delightful and complimented the whole, fresh, and flavorful cafe food. The cafe offered vegan and vegetarian options, and they stocked plenty of holistic skincare and health products.
Overall experience was great. I wish I lived near this place, and wasn't just passing through.

Kinda pricey but tastes good.
There were two types of muffin on the tray, I requested one type (by name), I was given the other. I'm not a picky eater and have no diet restrictions so it wasn't a big deal - but still shouldn't happen
The iced coffee was pretty good, I don't get that type of thing often, but for the price/ size it was half ice so it really wasn't worth the price.

Love this place! We go just about every weekend. Their coffee is great and their food is fantastic. Love the vibes this place puts out!

We've just moved to Baton Rouge and we're delighted to discover the coffee shop! It's very welcoming, and everyone is super friendly. We love the coffee and pastries, too! There are also plenty of vegan options!

Great place for coffee n pastries/ alternative meals, would be good if they stayed open late.

Quaint shop with a relaxed atmosphere and interesting art all around. Food options are a bit restricted by the day you visit, so be sure to check out the online menus before arriving. All in all, it's a nice place, but they burned all of the coffee drinks that my friends and I ordered, and for that, they shant be forgiven.
