Highland Coffees

Its been a week and I still feel coffee just like had an hour before, their coffee beans are fine to fill the place with beautiful aromas around, ambiance is out standing one will time travel couple of decades back.
Must stop by and try their signature coffee and make your day special

The barista was very nice. I loved the tea and the lemon poppyseed muffin that I had. If you're looking for a nice quiet coffee shop near LSU, this is the place to go!

This is my favorite place for a frozen blended chai latte or a cup of espresso. Beautiful ambiance, popular study environment, live music sometimes. I stop here any chance I get. I only wish it were bigger.

Excellent coffeeshop next to LSU campus. Great for small group gatherings. Decent tea selection. Fun atmosphere. Nice outdoor patio when the weather cooperates.

The espresso is amazing and the service is wonderful! There is a little bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. The atmosphere is very cozy and great for studying.

Best cafe in Baton Rouge. You can visit whenever you want. They have quality coffees and good services. Highly recommended.

Coffee was pretty good, baristas were nice and the actual seating areas are nice, plus great range of home brewing equipment at a pretty decent price (not that it matters to me, I'm passing through haha).

Knocked off a star for two reasons;
1) espresso could've been better if they weighed their shots. I worked at a specialty coffee shop for a few months and doing this takes seconds, it wouldn't affect a busy period.
2) like another reviewer said, the steam wand was caked in dried old milk. Other than it tainting the taste of any drinks made with it (and it potentially against health and safety regulations), it just shouldn't happen if standards are high enough. Again, takes a second or two to wipe and purge a steam wand after use.
BUT
Those aren't enough for me to seriously downgrade a place. Literally everything else was pleasant and I'm probably going to pop back over there in an hour or two to grab another drink before the night is out!

What do we want? Better WiFi. When do we wan't it? WHENEVER IS REASONABLE.

The only Roaster/Cafe combo in greater LA that I know of. Hidden jewel. Will make your clothes stink.

STRONG delicious coffee drinks. Cheaper than the chain coffeeshops on campus. Great value, and great coffee.
