One of my favorite coffee shops in Baton Rouge! A great study space right by campus and the workers are so sweet. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Lots of options

Coffee is great! I really enjoy the availability of tables. There is sometimes a lack of outlets for computers during times of high traffic like exam week, but overall the accommodations are fantastic.
The service is great even on a busy day, but you really can't beat the coffee.

Fantastic local coffee joint popular among both students and regular denizens of Baton Rouge. Great place for study groups, catching up with friends, or enjoying a coffee alone while reading a book (there is plenty of intentional lounge chairs or singles seating). Along with typical coffee shop fare is an intriguing selection of daily brews that rotates, one day it might be a Sumatran blend or the next day a Kenyan roast. Their cold brew selection is virtually unparalleled among other coffee shops in the city. The outdoor seating is fantastic, and in the spring the vine overhang of jasmine smells incredible. Coffee is cheap, tons of seating and great atmosphere, I always try and visit at least once during a stay in BR.

Great place to get a traditional coffee house experience. Service is excellent. Flavored espresso drinks aren't excessively sweet. Light or dark roast espresso options are available. I have enjoyed every drink I've tried here. Highly recommended.

Loved this spot since it was recommended to me 6 years ago when I came to LSU. Great study/meeting/hangout spot. And the coffees are tamped right there-so delicious!
My only qualm is that they know how much customers love those ham & cheese croissants... I go there just to pick one up at 10am and they're already gone. Meet the demand a little more 😉

You can walk in and order a high quality simply "medium" cup of coffee that is clearly better than a "grande" you'd get at the Starbucks. Atmosphere is also great if you wanna sit. It's not too easy to find parking near this coffee shop though; especially outside of summer months. Their croissants are also awesome but they run out of them very early in the morning. Still giving it 5 starts though.

This place.. where do i start? When you walk in you can smell the greatness of the amazing quility of coffee. A place where students come, great minds collide. If your lucky enough sometimes there is good poetry and music there. My fave coffee spot in Baton Rouge by far.

A Baton Rouge staple, it remains a good spot despite itself. The location is unbeatable for any study session (or pre-game walk to Death Valley), and LSU’s finest minds can be seen here engaging in enlightened conversation along side the local counter-culture bohemians. Despite the high potential, the owner plays drab music to match the styrofoam to-go cups and hasn’t updated anything since the 80’s (& not in the best ways). It’s basically a beautiful thing with a bad haircut, and if they’d just adjust the vibe with some much needed style it could truly go from good enough to great. Employees are generally cool once you penetrate an initial social barrier of distance, and if you’re in the area I would always recommend a quick (or long) visit to B.R.’s finest coffee shop.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! I go for the fresh roasted coffee beans. Students probably go for the WiFi... and caffeine. I live in the area and finding ANYWHERE that roasts their coffee in house ain't easy. Once you've had fresh roasted, you'll be loathe to get grocery store (roasted months ago) beans again. They also have loose tea for sale or drink. Snacks too as any coffee house should.
For the true coffee connoisseurs out there, this place is a must! Keep an eye out for bags marked as "natural" as these are air dried instead of the usual water drying method. Gives a whole new flavor to the exact same bean and I'm personally a fan of it, though your mileage may vary. The owner doesn't get these in very often. I might start a petition?...
