Lovely coffee however this is reduced by inefficient customer methods. Low levels of cleanliness with staff again not maintaining better levels of cross contamination. Lovely products on offer but badly displayed in clean film. Croissants look cooked from frozen or over cooked. Overall, the coffee and atmosphere is lovely but other areas need improving.

i've always found it easier to focus on a task in an environment with subtle ambient "noise." being that this place is a hub for students, highland coffees always has persons inside going about their business. this makes it the perfect location for me to adequately complete any/all study/research tasks ive got at the moment. their tea selection is pretty stellar, and the employees are always courteous. sick spot. i say 11/10 would recommend 6 sure.

Cool atmosphere. A hot spot for students by the look of it. I had one of thread medium roast Coffees and it was fantastic. I'll keep this spot on my list for future trips to Baton Rouge

It is a great atmosphere, really getting the vibe of a great coffee shop down pat. The staff was nice and had good advice for selections. I really wish they would do pour overs, especially where they roast their own beans.

The vibe is great, and made me feel comfortable, workers are very friendly, only down side is a little noisy but that's because lots of people enjoy it. Lots of area to sit and the WIFI works perfectly fine.

This is hands-down the best coffee you will drink in Baton Rouge. It's a great place to study, too, and great location, but you keep coming back long after graduating because of the coffee. Here's a great recipe for a Sunday in Baton Rouge all within a couple hundred feet: Mass at Christ the King with Father Andrew, lunch at Chimes with a great obscure beer, and coffee afterwards at Highland Coffees ... then maybe some gelato after that ;)

Wonderful atmosphere, very nice people, customer service was awesome, very helpful with my many questions and most importantly, delicious fresh coffee! I'm getting my coffee beans shipped to me from them from now on. They roast the green coffee beans there, I think everyday! Anyway, I'll be back!! ;)

I love the service here. Everyone is kind, and always smiling. They have amazing tea and muffins and they sell loose leaf tea as well for a great price. It's never been a disappointment. :)

This is a great, college, hipster coffee shop, with a nice layout and lots of variety in coffee and tea. You can probably get more teas here than other places. This place is lively, but can be a bit noisy and distracting.

Everything was good, not great but pretty good. We are visiting from Houston, Texas, so I figured let's check out some local coffee shops. If I lived here I don't think I'd come here everyday other than just to study or something.
I guess I was just expecting too much.
Coffee mugs were pretty cool though.
