Heine Brothers Coffee - Schnitzelburg/Germantown

I love Heine bros and all Louisville’s local coffee, but have been pretty consistently disappointed by this location the last few months. This is the closest Heine to my house and my work, so I frequent it, but have found that their quality and friendliness have really gone downhill.
Every time I go to this location I order one of two pretty basic drinks and every time they come out differently. I totally understand a little inconsistency from time to time but literally every time I go there my drink is different or just not what I ordered.
Today, I ordered an oat milk vanilla latte and they just didn’t put the vanilla syrup in it. I was the only one in line at the time.

Heine Brother's Coffee surmounts any other coffee I've ever had. This particular Heine Brother's Coffee has a very zen atmosphere; it's a great place to study or hang out with friends.

I don’t drink coffee so I have nothing to say about that. Their hot chocolate is good but not great and they never put enough peppermint in mind even though I offer to pay for extra. The staff, however, are great! Always nice. The other day my card was declined and they insisted I take my drink on the house. They wouldn’t even try my other card. I’d give five stars but I’m picky about my peppermint hot chocolate 😋

Busy local coffee shop with a drive through and fairly large inside -- full of students working on laptops the evening I was there! They have a lot of gluten-free and dairy-free options. Service was great -- friendly, fast and nailed my coconut milk green tea latte! The prep area & machines were immaculately clean despite how busy they were. So happy to have several gluten-free bread options to choose from. Step put of your tired old coffee rut and try a Beekeeper!

Normally my experiences at Heine Bros are pleasant, and the products are always up to par, but my first and only experience at this one location was soiled by the rude employee, who, when I asked if I could have one of my lattes hot, as I had ordered them both hot, gave me an attitude and insisted that I “definitely ordered them iced.” As someone who works at a coffee shop, I understand the frustration of the hot-iced debacle. I also don’t always believe that the customer is always right. However, the one thing you do not do, is insist that the customer is wrong, and be rude to them. Coffee is great, don’t remember the name of this one employee, but definitely ruined my experience, will probably avoid this one.

Really great coffee! I tried a beekeeper with raw honey in it, and honestly, it was a bit too sweet. But it went well with my donuts from next door and the tables were placed well apart so that I felt comfortable sitting inside to sip my coffee.

The 2 other Heine Bros I've been to have never tasted great. I've given them multiple chances. This was my second time to this location. First time was good, this time after a crappy day the lovely barista even bought my coffee after hearing about it from my co-workers who were there waiting for me.
Ambience is chill, coffee here is great but the staff is amazing! That goes far out for me!

I always order on the app and it's always ready for me upon my arrival time! Great staff and delicious coffee!

This location has provided me with consistent friendly service over the past 4 or 5 years. I will travel out of my way to go to this location, because I always know it will be clean and friendly. I can setup camp here with my laptop or books, and the staff are always cheerful in performing all of their duties. I'm happy to support a business that either has great hiring techniques or a secret ingredient to make its employees pleasant/genuinely happy. This location is wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible restrooms - one male and one female restroom. This location also has at least 2 high chairs available in the customer area. There are a variety of pastries, whole bean coffees, mugs, water bottles, t-shirts, and snacks for sale as well.
