This was my 1st time my boyfriend and I had eaten here and overall it was a pleasant experience. We got the 16 inch pizza...the crust was a little crisper then I liked personally. But overall, the pizza was delicious. The establishment itself was neat and clean. When you walk in there is a sign stating to seat yourself....we did that and after about 3 or 5 minutes I was told to order food and drinks at the bar. I did that and the food and drinks were delivered shortly after. When we were done we sat stranded again..no check..no to go box....so I went to bar and requested the check and paid the tab. Overall the service was great and we will definitely go back. When we were leaving we saw a tiny sign that said order at bar no table service. So, I suggest some bigger.signs could be posted on the process when you get there and what to do when u leave. I know the sign on door said hiring..so I hope when you have more staff you provide service at the table. Thank you and have a great night!

The Post is our go to pizza place! The slices are HUGE and delicious, and we look forward to the “pizza of the month.” Love the friendly staff and owners! Excellent draft list as well with lots of local options available.

When the pizza craven starts, it difficult to decide where to go. Gave this place a shot and wow, found my new favorite pizza here in Louisville. Love the New York style as well!
Asked for well done. Difference maker! Will be back!

Got to try a nice assortment of food at The Post and it did not disappoint. This is a wonderful NY style pizzeria with great pizza, beers (draft and bottle), salads, sandwiches and calzones. Service was good, and they do have a nice outdoor seating area for the warmer times.
The food, overall a solid 8 to 8.5 out of 10 from all of our group. We had thier cheese bread as an app, was flavorful and crust was perfect, crispy on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside. One of us also had a salad, with a solid tasty balsamic dressing and fresh ingredients.
Now, for thier pizza and calzones... perfect NY style. By the slice, HUGE slices that remind me of what you'd find around Central Park. They also have slices of the day and pizzas of the month, be sure to check them out. One of us had thier spin on a Hawaiian, was really flavorful and unique. Make sure to get plenty of the drizzle. Two of us went the "make your own" route and were really impressed. Flavorful, perfect crust with a nice dusting of cornmeal. Ingredients were plentiful and it came out like a work of art. Our last party member had a calzone... and like the NY slices, it was no small serving. Packed full of cheese and wonderful.
Overall would highly recommend for the NY pizza fix (or just pizza in general). Really looking forward to going back, trying different things, including thier sandwiches!

We enjoyed their willingness to share the history they knew about the building and show us what hospitality in Kentucky means. Jacob chatted to us joyfully about the wall of the past Veteran's Post presidents. We bought shirts after these conversations to remember how that made us feel after a long half day of driving. We enjoyed speaking with other guests who told us they frequented the bar often.

The Post hits all the marks. It's a good environment, good food, and affordable.
Just a slice is equal to a small pizza.
We're traveling and this establishment felt safe and friendly.

10/10 would recommend. I read an article that said they had the best mozzarella sticks in Kentucky which is what originally led me to eat there. They actually don’t have mozzarella sticks there but that’s ok I’m still so glad I got to try this place! The pizza was AMAZING and so were the cheese sticks! They have a wonderful selection of craft beer. I tried their sour beer by gallant fox and it was fantastic. I’m not from Louisville but next time I go I will definitely be eating here again! Our server was fantastic as well, I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out! Caution: you may need to take a very long nap afterwards 😂

We visited The Post for the first time, and are now big fans. The weekend lunch special is awesome...a giant slice, Caesar salad (or a breadstick) and drink for only about $8! And our server was amazing. A definite recommendation from us!

The Allies - Burned the roof of my mouth eating.... It was really good pizza.
Bourbon Lemon-Tonic (BLT) - Only get this if you like tonic's I guess lol. I learned I do not but I can't stand wasting alcohol lmao
*The House salad wasn't mine, but the croutons looked too good not to take a picture

Good pizza. Similar to sliced found in nyc. Great price point. Friendly staff. I’ll be back.
