This cafe is located in one of the friendliest neighborhoods, Riverside! There are chairs inside and out. There are talented musicians who come to play sometimes. I ordered a delicious breakfast sandwich and it was huge in my opinion, so I was very happy! My coffee was perfect as always. Friendly staff in this comfy home style coffeehouse!

Amazing little cafe! The atmosphere is amazing and the outdoor space is so relaxing. My husband and I got iced coffees, I got a bacon Starving R-tist breakfast burrito and my husband got a sausage breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious! They brought our food and drinks outside to us and we were able to enjoy the fresh air and live music. Highly recommend!

Wierd location nestled in a neighborhood of small entrepreneurs type businesses in old buildings that may have been homes. Most of the nearby homes could be flea market stands with all the weird yard "folk art" stuff, like old chairs with a planter.
The place would be perfect for Halloween.
The coffee was too chicory tasting and pricey. Egg Burrito was nothing exceptional. Our order took a long time and I had to check to make sure it wasn't overlooked.

I’m very disappointed to have to leave a poor review on my favourite cafe in town. Unfortunately the service today was very upsetting. They took my order and didn’t even start it until the person behind me picked up theirs. Then, I found out they didn’t even start our order and asked me to repeat it. I specifically said for the 2nd time, no tomatoes for my 7 yr old daughter. I had to ask 3 different times for water. They had intentionally made me go up to the counter several times just to get the order right before they even brought the food, with no water… and the sandwich arrived with so many tomatoes on it that my daughter couldn’t even eat it.

Friday morning seemed to suggest coffee at the old Riverside Perk, now called R Coffeehouse! A nice crowd was gathered to listen to Marty Bowie practice his Friday morning piano arpeggios. Nothing better than fresh fingers on the piano mixing with fumes of fresh coffee and breakfast concoctions!
